Pros:

Erg mooi resort. We zaten in een ruime bungalow en hadden uitzicht op de rivier. Vriendelijk personeel en goed eten

Bad location and bad service
Pros:

The place is in the middle of nowhere at the end of unpaved road in an extremely bad shape. A bellboy took me to the room without carrying my bag. Based on the hotel description, the room should have a soaking bathtub but mine didn't have it. When I asked the receptionist, the description by hotels.com (now owned by expedia) is wrong. Next day I had to go boat dock about 8 km away and had to pay US$60. Their justification was that unpaved road is in very bad shape.

Perfect way to disconnect.
Pros:

Staff was awesome. Lack of TV helped us disconnect from business life. Although internet was hit/miss, the tranquility of the river jungle, hospitality of the team, cooking of the best---truly an experience to remember!

Great place to unwind
Pros:

No elephants here anymore, but a beautiful retreat. Lovely pool, simple but pretty good food, really nice bikes you can take exploring to the caves and elsewhere. The rooms are incredible and luxurious with huge bathtubs though hot water is a bit hit or miss.

An oasis of calm retreat and total relaxation.
Pros:

We booked for two nights and stayed another six! It was that good! The resort is 35k out of town, but the free shuttle enables trips to be taken, giving the best of both Tourist trips in the busy but lovely Luang Prabang as well as lazy days at the resort. To return and rest In the lush tropical gardens, perfect infinity pool, by the serene riverside with one's own terrace, is heaven. The lodges have huge, well appointed rooms, with only the sounds of nature to disturb you! Service is exceptional, Win and his team go the extra mile to advise and help make your stay special. It has a great atmosphere of tranquility, combined with town, it makes a perfect balance.
The restaurant has a good menu of a high and good value standard.
Perhaps more soft and comfortable seating in the bar/ lounge area would be more inviting and encourage clients to relax? No Tvs in room! But ... A great find.
