Hotel had seen better days but don't miss the Onsen !
Pros:

The hotel itself is a very large complex with good size rooms for a decent price. Staff is exceptionally friendly, as usual in Japan. We had the choice of western style rooms (facing the land) or Japanese style rooms (facing the sea). Beds were western-style in both, just the other furniture was different. What was exceptional was the outside part of the Onsen, where one could sit below the stars and look out on the sea while enjoying the hot water. Just for this I would return.

Cons:

The hotel clearly has seen better days. Some of the carpets in the hallways would need replacing. Time clearly has left marks. What we really didn't like was the buffet - the only option (no a-la-carte). It was too late to go outside and fine some nice place to eat, so we stayed in. The food was ok, but - as often with buffet - not on the same level as fresh in a restaurant. And for 8000 yen per person probably the worst price to taste ration we had in all of Japan. Yes, the drinks were included, and the selection of hard liquor was not bad. So one could have gotten the money worth by hitting the bar area hard. Unfortunately, we were not in the mood to get wasted. While returning only for the Onsen, I would not choose the buffet again.

Stunning place to stay with a great spa.
Pros:

An amazing location with stunning views over the sea and penisula. Good size room with good facilities. Clean and comfortable.
Social evenings with free nibbles and drinks were very weilcome, plus the SPA was excellant both inside and out.
Great location, just a short distance from the town and the most southerly tip of the main island.
Easy free parking.
Not far from stunning views on the rock structures and beaches.

Cons:

The area was a little challenging to find more western style food, but the local supermarket provided a great selection of ready meals which compensated.

Aussen zusätzlicher Pool vorhanden.

Cons:

Frühstück und Abendessen gegen Aufpreis 3'200 bzw. 8'000. Finde ich persönlich etwas zuhoch.

出入在串本車站都有接駁巴士，地處風景優美之地，戶外泡湯池超讚，有飲料吧，唯黃金週我們訂到比較昂貴的價格

スタッフの使えなさ。アーリーチェックインについて聞いたところ、？？？もう一回お願いします。が続いて話にならなかったので会話終了。オーナーが変わったことでまだ移行できていない施設の雑に隠した部分が至る所に見えて悲しすぎました。温泉は良かったですが使用後のタオルを返す場所もなくそのまま部屋に持ち帰らなければならない。ホテルも全体的に暗すぎて、シックというよりは陰気臭いと表現した方が的確なイメージ。以前の姿を知っているが故に、本当に残念でなりません。改善を求めます。

ステキなホテルでした
Pros:

好天に恵まれ、ホテルからの景色も最高に良かった。室内も広くて清潔、ベットマットの硬さもよく熟睡できた。
ウェルカムドリンクも十分用意されていた。

Cons:

チェックイン時に朝食ビュッフェを頼もうとしたが、混むので時間待ちがあると言われ、更に断られるかもと説明されたので、楽しみにしていた朝食を取らずに帰ったのが残念だった。

Prachtig uitzicht, onsen en zwembad
Pros:

Wij waren er in het weekend. Samen met vele Japanse gezinnen die hier massaal ontspannen in de grote onsen en zwembad van het hotel inclusief relaxruimte met na afloop ijsjes en drank. Geweldig om mee te maken. Doordeweeks zijn de prijzen aanzienlijk lager en is het een stuk stiller. De Hashiguiiwa rocks zijn zichtbaar vanaf het hotel en makkelijk te bezoeken.

Cons:

Wees op tijd met het zoeken van een plek voor avondeten. Wij waren op zaterdagavond 19 uur in het dorp maar nergens konden we meer terecht. Overal Sold out of Almost closed. Gevolg is dat we bij een supermarkt wat hebben gehaald en opgewarmd om dit op onze kamer op te eten.

フランス会社系列と言う事もかり清潔、無駄が無い施設でした
ロビーにて17時まではビール、ソフトドリンク飲み放題なんと17時〜22時はビールがウイスキー　焼酎　カクテルに変わり飲み放題です
高台にあるので橋杭岩、串本大橋が望めます
大浴場は一階です

Cons:

低層階ワーキング併用部屋らしく大きな椅子とテーブルが置いてあります　ちょっと邪魔です
ベット周りの試用は古いです
