Great Staff, great hotel!
Pros:

Staff at the hotel are amazing, always helpful.
Name a few Fattah, Chikka, Noorudeen, Imel….all very attentive to your needs…hotel is well ran.
Breakfast is great…variety of food choices from noodles, rice, breads, selection of porridges ..
Made me love Jakarta and its people!

Pros:

Good halal hotel in a non Muslim country. The door staff (bellmen/porters) are very helpful and polite.

Cons:

The check-in staff seem robotic (unfriendly). The hotel boasts many restaurants but it only has one, and the staff don't speak any English at all, hence made lots of errors in our order and caused delays. We had to wait for check out while they checked our room which took a while, and our taxi was outside - unnecessary slow checkout process.

위치나 크기는 아주 좋았습니다. 입구 문을 직원분들이 열어주셔서 너무 좋았습니다.

Cons:

5성급에 걸맞지 않은 방 컨디션은 별로였습니다. 청결도나, 침대 옆에 콘센트도 꽂을 곳 하나 없고 욕실이나 전신 거울 옆에 콘센트 꽂는 곳이 없어서 헤어 상태를 보면서 준비 할 수 없는 구조여서 좀 불편했습니다.

الفندق مناسب للعوائل المسلمة

الفندق إسلامي بالكامل من الطاقم إلى نظام الغرف الراقي ووجود المصلى والهدوء ونظافة الفندق ونظافة المشاهد والاحتشام للعوائل المسلمة، علما ان عندهم نظام جميل وهو من الساعة 6 صباحا حتى الساعة 10 صباحا يُفتح المسبح للنساء فقط ، ايضا وجود مصاعد ، أمانة خدمة الغرف

لا شي يذكر بصراحة ، سوى ان الموقع بعيد نوعاً ما عن سيام سكوير في حدود 35 دقيقة فقط ولكن نظافة الفندق الإسلامي للعوائل لغت كل مشكلات البعد

We had an outstanding stay at Al Meroz Hotel, made even more meaningful by the exceptional care shown to our family during a difficult time. My son was very unwell during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond to support us — from arranging a late check-out to making thoughtful adjustments to our stay without any hassle.
Special thanks to Apisit, the front desk manager, whose warmth and genuine concern made a real difference when we needed it most. He handled everything with patience and professionalism, and it truly felt like the staff cared about us as people, not just guests.
The restaurant manager, Thapphisak also deserves a mention — when my son wasn’t able to come down for breakfast, he made sure food was sent up to his room every single day. Small gestures like this meant so much during a stressful time.
Beyond the exceptional service, everything about our stay was excellent — comfortable rooms, great food, and a genuinely caring team throughout. Highly recommend Al Meroz to anyone visiting Bangkok, especially families who may need extra support or flexibility. Thank you to the whole team for making a hard time so much easier.
