Extremely disappointing stay at Al Meroz Hotel Bangkok — this is NOT a 4-star hotel, it barely deserves 2 stars.
We stayed 4 nights with family (4 rooms), and the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Honestly, the positive reviews online feel misleading or fake.
Rooms were in very poor condition — toilets constantly blocked, dust everywhere, and a bad smell that never went away. Maintenance and cleanliness are clearly not taken seriously at this hotel.
Breakfast was terrible — easily the worst we’ve had anywhere. Very limited, low quality, and not worth it at all.
As Muslim travelers, we specifically chose this hotel through a halal-friendly booking platform expecting a clean and comfortable stay. Instead, it was a complete letdown.
Do not trust the high ratings. This hotel is poorly managed, badly maintained, and far below the standard it claims. Definitely not worth the money.

Amazing stay with excellent service, great location, and comfortable rooms. We will definitely come back again.

- breakfast opens early, at 6.

Cons:

-"after checking in I was assigned room 706 but it was without power/electr8city. Room was changed to 811 but after entering the room, I was told it had assigned to another customer.
Again room change and finally assigned room 1007. After a long flight this was really frustrating and unexpected
- expected good quality of customer service.
- when asked for extra bottle of water, I was told I had to pay Baht 35, which was shocking to me.
I stayed in many 5- star hotel in various countries but never experienced this.
