The hotel facilities were fine, but there was one problem. The room rate was quoted in US Dollars, but stay was billed in Guatemalan Quetzales converted at a rip-off exchange rate, not the expected interbank rate. This makes the dollar rate next to meaningless and allows the hotel to charge whatever it wants. I’ve rarely encountered this practice, and in any event it is very disrespectful of the guests and the booking process.

Ended up staying here twice because I liked it and it was conviently located.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, rooms were very comfortable and great showers.

Cons:

They were doing renovations so there was a lot of dust in the corridors but the rooms were immaculate and clean.
