Great little kitchenette for own breakfast and helpful staff carrying bags up to room
Was a slight smell in bathroom,maybe because no window but was a great overnight stay
Stayed here before which is usually good but this time there was a beeping noise every 10 or so minutes - there is no one to contact after the office is closed. The door also kept rattling as if wind was blowing at it - I had the worst sleep ever experienced. I also requested an invoice to be emailed at checkin as my stay was for work purposes and followed up the next day, followed by the next day and still have not received any response. Put off and will not be staying here again.
Service and noise
Walking distance to lake, shops dining out - clean well appointed
It was clean and quite. It was walking distance to town. There was parking on-site. Staff were friendly. The room was a good size and had everything you needed to cook/heat/store your meals. It was summer when we stayed and the air-conditioning unit was switched on before we arrived which was great after a long drive.
Although the room was lovely and clean with fresh linen and towels etc unfortunately the room smelt like a dirty dish cloth (Possibly from the air-conditioning unit)?
We used the drier which smelt disgusting. The shower head kept drooping downwards and smelt musty like a drain smell. All things that can be fixed. I notified the staff member (who took notes) as we left. I would stay there again if the smells were sorted.
The electrical box was very noisy hard to sleep with the humming
Nice bright room. Good appliances. Nice, clean and welcoming. Spacious room. Comfortable lounge suite to relax on.
The only thing that really let it down was some long hair in the bathroom sink when I first arrived. Also the floor above was very noisy when people moved - however it did not keep me awake, nor an inconvenience.
Great little place to stop over in Taupo. Lovely staff and great facilities. Generous sized rooms and bathrooms, with everything we needed. Definitely recommend.
