Meine Ayurveda Kur in der Villa Velmarie wäre eigentlich am 30.09. zu Ende gewesen.
Aber es gab gute Gründe, meinen Aufenthalt dort zu verlängern.

So findet zum Beispiel die Kur unter der Leitung des aus dem öffentlichen Fernsehen bekannten Doktor Janaka statt.

Die Küche wird geleitet von Milton der die leckersten ayurvedische Speisen zubereitet. Von Milton durfte ich lernen, wie man auf die sympathischste Weise „Nein“ sagen kann, ohne das das Gegenüber böse sein kann.

Der Garten ist so idyllisch und friedlich, das selbst die brütenden Vögel im Sonnenschirm auf einen achtgeben wie auf ihre eigenen Jungen.

Besonders gut gehen, lässt es mich meine Masseurin Lakna, welche die tollsten Massageprogramme durchführt, die der Doktor mir verschreibt, mir Dampf- und Kräuterbäder einlässt und mich in Singalesisch und lokaler Kultur unterrichtet.

Außerdem habe ich dort meine Ehefrau kennengelernt und direkt geheiratet. Dank Ranjith war das möglich, der nicht nur die Hochzeitsfeier organisiert hat, sondern auch zu meinem Geburtstag eine Torte und eine Geburtstagfeier arrangiert hat.

Alle diese Momente machten die Villa Velmarie zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Vielen Dank an das Personal und die lieben Menschen die ich dort kennen und lieben lernen durfte.

Wonderful place for Ayurveda
Pros:

Wonderful place for Ayurveda. Beautiful villa surrounded by a tropical garden. The staff is amazing, everyone was very kind and did a wonderful job. The Ayurveda is highly professional , you can expect a proper health treatment. I would come back anytime!

Tolles kleines Resort. Es war schön, das hier nur max. 12 Gäste möglich wären. Kein Trubel. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das gesamte Paket war großartig. Jeden Tag Yoga und 2 ayurvedische Anwendungen pro Tag. Ergänzt und abgerundet mit dem köstlichen Speisen. Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen. Vor der Yoga Stunde am Morgen gab es immer noch eine köstliche Suppe.
Der Umgang mit den Personal und den anderen Gästen war freundschaftlich bis familiär.
Geeignet für Menschen die Erholung und Ruhe suchen. Für Kinder eher nicht geeignet.

A new experience for us that gave good health results.
Pros:

The Villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool in the centre. There is a dedicated yoga area within the garden.

Cons:

The Villa could be modernised inside. We struggled to control the air conditioning in our room. Also felt that the yoga area would have benefited from more shade.
