Dome Beach Marina Hotel & Resort

We arrived late, around 11pm and the only food they offer if you arrive late is a dry sandwich, no choice of flavour, they only have ham and cheese, man on reception just got them out of a cupboard, we tried half each and the bread was really dry!!

2 wedding receptions were going on when we got there so parts were out of bounds as booked for private events.

They have 1 bar available at night, they close the beach bar at 6pm which we found odd.

Unfortunately we wouldn't class the hotel as 4 star, more 3 star.

The rooms are very tired and dated.

Our children are 15 and 12 and for some reason our 15 year old was classed as an adult in the hotel booking, I read it was to do with the beds but all they were supplied to sleep on was a dirty old sofa bed which had no proper mattress and they really struggled with metal bars digging in their backs on the first night, we complained the day after and to be fair reception requested mattresses for it which the cleaners put on, it was a bit of an improvement but still not good enough for a 4star. There should be proper beds in family rooms not old crap sofa beds.

Noisy at night, we were on 1st floor and could hear people dragging furniture about at 1 and 2am! Also people shouting at that time which wasn't acceptable, quite a few inconsiderate people staying there and unfortunately there was a door linking our room to another so could hear the people in the next room too much as they were very loud and there was quite a gap under the joining door.

We had problems with our safe 3 days in a row and maintenance had to keep coming out to fix it.

The lock on sliding door onto balcony was rusted and kept getting stuck.

Air con was crap, had it on full all night and we were all roasting.

One day the cleaner decided to replace our 4 towels with just 3.

Parts of the room, mainly bathroom could have been cleaned better, bathroom mirror needs replacing.
The pillow cases were dirty too.
Plastic furniture on balcony very dirty, going black.

Lift button for floor -1 didn't work most of the time.

Also, my partner made the mistake of leaving around 5 euros on the side in the room and that just disappeared so we don't know who decided to take that for themselves!

The area to the right of reception (with the piano in it) looks like it never gets cleaned, the carpet are was filthy and covered in bits and dead insects. Looks like it never gets vacuumed. The steps down to the pool from this area seemed to have breakfast cereal on them all week so they obviously never get given a sweep over.

Not impressed that you have to pay for loungers and parasols on the beach, should be free for all inclusive hotel guests!! We didn't use them at all because it was a rip off at 3.50 euro for sunbeds and 3 euro for parasols!

Food ok, standard all inclusive, we always found something to eat would have liked more Halloumi dishes though. The chicken was always a bit chewy. One night they did a bbq but again the chicken was chewy and dry.

We had Italian and Greek a la carte which were ok, some things were nice, others not so much, you didn't know what you were going to get as they just keep putting dishes on your table, one of them was mussels which I wouldn't eat but I really did enjoy the pasta carbonara.

Entertainment was very poor and always started later than advertised so suffered all the cigarette smoke around for even longer.
The only good entertainment was fire dancing on our last night but we didn't know about it so only saw half of it from our balcony.

The staff we encountered were all very friendly.

Lovely location, can't fault it as it is right next to the beach, we loved sitting at the beach bar (when it was open).

We had a sea view from room which was nice.

Liked the shallower pool mostly, it was nice and warm but beware at the weekend they let locals in for the day to use the pool etc and so we couldn't get sunbeds for 2 days which isn't good when you have paid to stay there for a week! Luckily we took our own beach towels as they charge 10euro deposit each for theirs which is too much.

We'd definitely go back for the location but not the hotel unless it had major improvements.

We would recommend Ayia Napa Sculpture Park as that was interesting to walk around.

I'm currently enjoying my vacation in my 2. Home and my 2. Family. It is so wonderful to come to the hotel and to be so warmly welcomed by everyone. Whether manager or cleaning or service they are all so warm. The rooms are great. It is cleaned non stop. From my point of view, everyone also bears their own responsibility. The food is absolutely fantastic and lots of new dishes. The possibility to choose between different restaurants and this included in the all inclusive is unique. The location of the hotel is as unique by the sea as in any other place, so brilliant. At the same time it has for all wishes sunbeds quiet or at the pool. It would be great if there was a safe place for SUP or other water sports equipment.
We keep coming home. We feel super comfortable.

THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW

We arrived on 18th August and still have a few days of our holiday left. In fact, I'm currently sitting in the beach bar writing this review, which probably says a lot about how much we're enjoying our stay.

When we arrived, just after midnight with a family of five, there was a mix-up with our room allocation. After a long day of travelling, it wasn't the ideal start, especially as most UK flights arrive late in the evening. However, the reception team asked us to speak with the manager the following morning, and to the hotel's credit, they dealt with the issue quickly and professionally. We were moved into a suite so that we could all be together, which was greatly appreciated as this was a special family occasion and I wanted everything to be right.

The room itself has been excellent. It's spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The daily housekeeping service has been fantastic, and our maid has been lovely throughout the stay.

The food has genuinely exceeded my expectations. For an all-inclusive resort, the quality and variety are outstanding. Everything feels fresh, there's plenty of choice, and it's probably the best all-inclusive food experience I've had. I would definitely recommend booking the speciality restaurants on site. We tried the Italian, Greek and Japanese restaurants, and all three were excellent.

The pool areas are clean, comfortable and never felt overcrowded. There are a couple of different pools to choose from depending on the atmosphere you're looking for. As with most resorts, if you want a particular sunbed, getting out early helps, but that's pretty standard and wasn't an issue for us.

There are also a couple of nearby beaches. As they are municipal beaches, there is an additional charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. In all honesty, we spent most of our time around the pool, but the beaches are beautiful, incredibly clean, and the sea is absolutely stunning.

The biggest compliment I can give is to the people who work here. Every day, from the bar staff and restaurant teams to housekeeping, maintenance and the kitchen staff, everyone works incredibly hard. The hotel runs smoothly because of them. They are friendly, professional, attentive and always immaculately presented. The management team should be very proud of the staff because they are a huge part of what makes this hotel such an enjoyable place to stay.

If I'm being completely honest, I can understand why this is rated as a 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star property. There are a few small areas where you can see the difference. However, what it may lack in luxury touches, it more than makes up for in atmosphere, service, cleanliness, food quality and overall experience.

This is a genuinely wonderful place to relax, unwind and switch off from the stresses of everyday life. We're still here enjoying our holiday, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. ❤️

When returning to a favourite, it's good to reflect on memories, and to acknowledge the changes since last time. Reflections include great food, lovely beach areas and beachside location not too far from the town, superb cleanliness, great service from friendly and helpful staff. And to use a bit of a cliche, the Dome captures that relaxing quiet ambience; a reflection of the outdoor Cypriot lifestyle. You know, the lifestyle that is just a bit slower and more relaxed. All of this was just the same as before, like coming home to somewhere you know and love. And the new? Rooms are being refurbished and there's a nice new extension on the beach side as well as other improved amenities like the beach area furnishings. It's always great to see the owners investing back into the business. In all, a great value stay; and to visit again? Oh yes!

I have lost count of how many time I have come to this hotel Over the years the staff treat us like family
It's always nice to return back see the new improvement but mainly to see familiar faces and new one of course
My daughter loves the baby pool we spent most of our time there
It's always very clean and there is always staff cleaning picking up plastic glasses and cleaning around
Food in Mykonos was delicious my daughter also loves the club sandwich by the beach house
A special thank you must go to Vasso who always comes and speak to us
The lovely couple in the restaurant who work at the snack bar and Rajesh who my daughter adores
Once again you all have exceeded my expectations you never seem to fail and I can't thank you all enough for another fantastic stay

We stayed here beginning of July and whilst the hotel is beautiful, the food, rooms and vibe were awful.

If you didn’t have children under 8 you weren’t catered for so only one bar was open of an evening and there wasn’t enough room for all guests and you have to put up with other people’s children as there were no other options.

The food was cold or if it should have been cold I.e fruit it was warm. We ended up eating out majority of the time.

Our room smelt of damp and we had ants in the room and not sure they were of 4 star standard.

There was a very odd vibe and felt that the managers friends and family came for a few days and got better treatment then those who were holidaying.

People seemed to be able to just walk off from the beach and had access to sunbeds etc so holiday makers couldn’t have a bed sometimes.

I definitely won’t be going back

Every Day and every night they had an entertaining program ,which it was something that my kids ,6 year old and 11 year old ,loved it!!We didnt want to go outside from the hotel.We had everything that we wanted,the location,the beach makronissos,there is AMAZING,the access to everything is just so easy and pleasant.
And the view around you its just magical…!
In words, you cant describe it you have to come and live it!

We travel often and with this hotel its a very mixed review. I wouldn’t put off coming back but at the same time wouldn’t rush back here either. Would say more 3star not 4!

All inclusive cocktail selection poor
Our room was a bit dated, shower screen rusty etc and we had ants
Sun loungers get reserved by staff for outside visitors so you need to get up early
They decide to cut grass and do maintenance by the pool at 9.30am
You have to pay 10€ cash deposit for each towel from the hotel
The food is lukewarm/cold
Witnessed staff having arguments twice
We had plates/cup in our room all week no one cleared them even after cleaning

We stayed for a full week as a family of four, and honestly, our kids 11 and 6 had some of the most spectacular moments they’ve ever had at any hotel we’ve visited. Dome Beach hotel truly set a new standard for us.
The all inclusive package was outstanding and I mean genuinely all inclusive. Cocktails, wines, freddo espressos, ice creams, even water all covered.
There was simply no need to spend on anything extra.
They even offered free bookings at their à la carte restaurants, which was a lovely touch we didn’t expect.
We made full use of the facilities and activities on offer and were more than satisfied.
The buffet was generous and tasteful, with a different theme every day, so we never got bored of the food. The staff brought incredible energy and warmth throughout our stay and there was always something happening, whether it was sports like water polo, beach volley during the day or music, magician shows, dance performances and bingo in the evenings.

The kids loved every single pool the hotel offers and stayed entertained the entire time.
Super easy access to the gorgeous Makronisos Beach and the small details really stood out, like the outdoor showers placed at every corner so you never had to track sand back into your room. It’s these little things that show real thoughtfulness and the management at Dome Beach hotel clearly knows how to keep their guests satisfied.

Stayed at this fantastic hotel a week ago, have been here several times always with family and it’s fantastic. We always arrive at the hotel about 2330 and check in is quick and efficient and a sandwich provided, and just in time for last orders. We are always greeted with a smile and the staff have almost become like family, they work so hard to make the guests experience a good one and nothing is too much trouble. There are newer more up to date hotels, but I don’t think any that have that family vibe and happy atmosphere. The pools are beautifully warm with plenty of room around the 2 pools or the spacious grounds, there’s a lovely beach bar where you can watch the sun go down in the evenings listening to the DJ or have a nice meal in one of the à la carte restaurants, make sure you book early though. The food in the restaurant is good quality and always hot with a good variety,.there’s a snack bar in the afternoons which serves wraps, burgers, chicken nuggets, spaghetti Bolagnese or Greek salad, there’s also an iced coffee and cake stand in the afternoon. The hotel is a little outside Ayia Napa town centre but for 20 euros the taxis are quick and efficient. It’s always sad when we have to come back to the UK. A special mention for Maria, the hard working bar staff, Ismail and Johnny, the married snack bar couple who always greeted us so beautifully. Hope to see you next year

We had a wonderful stay at Dome Beach Hotel! The location is beautiful, with a lovely beach and stunning sea views. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly, specially (Charnjeet) she was very kind and ,welcoming, and always ready to help.

The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for a holiday. We especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the beach, and the excellent service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily return and recommend Dome Beach Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Stayed at Dome Beach with family, 5 adults snd 3 kids. This is our 3rd time in last 3 years and I can’t fault it, the location is in my opinion the best in Ayia Napa and the staff are fantastic, they work so hard for the guests and really go above and beyond. A special shout out to Maria, Johnny and Ismail who made us feel so welcome again. The hotel has added some good touches in the last few years and we loved sitting at the beach bar listening to the DJ while looking out over the sea, it’s truly one of my favourite spots to be. Looking forward to coming back next year for a truly relaxing time.
