Excellent facility with positive and engaging staff.
Pros:

Fantastic selection of breakfast buffet and available very early morning with pre arranged access. Staff were very attentive and the room service was excellent with cleaning and servicing of all items.

Cons:

Pros:

Really lovely hotel, big rooms with balconies with amazing views over Darwin and palmerston. Great breakfast buffet and Really friendly helpful staff. Also in the centre to the out of town activities but still a short trip to Darwin

Lacking need to pick it up

Locality is good though had arvo sun balcony and as im local didnt need the view I had also requested a one bedroom but got a room

The fact i didnt get what id requested for the same price online, cleaners were rude and refused to replace toilet paper and towels i was asked if I wanted every 2 days room serviced i said yes that didnt happen then they tell me twice weekly who would want that for 10 days ... pool area lacks and its freezing all of the time its also very shallow
Was very dissapointed in the prices of food especially for already spending huge amounts on accommodation
Breakfast lacked had to pay for coffee when there was no coffee machine everything wasnt hot its was luke warm fruit selection was average the pancakes were frozen and heated in microwave so hit and miss
Though the staff at breakfast were great
Oh and front desk staff had no idea of their own policies were not evt stays im like the sign says it!!!

Not impressed for the price and lack of maintenance on this room

Not hot water
Hot water function did not work in spa
Light function did not work in spa
On arrival toilet seat was covered in urine
Shower drain had pubes or human hair
Toilet would not flush, took cover off still would not flush, had to use bucket.

Advised reception on check out that I was not seeking a refund but contact from the manager to explain the issues with the utilities in the room.
Was a lovely room at glance, staff were so amazing.

However I received a generic email for feedback from booking.com, but nothing personally from the property yet to discuss my concerns. This was an extremely important evening for me and my guest and the break downs and lack or care for room maintenance or resolve has left this occasion with sadness that my weekend did not go to plan.

I would greatly appreciate that this feedback is passed on in a constructive way to the property.

Thanks for making the booking experience so easy though. I always use you guys 😊

Wonderful hospitality, food and comfort

Thank you Nathania and everyone at Rydges Palmerston. For 3 years I have stayed at this fabulous hotel for my work and rate this stay very highly. I have stayed at Rydges for around 500 nights in total and have always felt comfortable, looked after and happy on each occasion. I enjoy the comfort, the food and the friendliness. This time around was an upgrade for which I am very, very thankful🙏🙏🙏. I will always recommend this hotel for those wanting to visit Darwin or even for day tripping to local attractions like Litchfield. It's very central and you can walk easily to any number of shops. This may be my last business trip here but I'll stay here when i return for a holiday with my partner. Many, many thanks again.
