it was just ok

Cons:

No toilet paper had to buy some .. no maid service.. no reception staff tried on 3 occasions to ring the bell and response.. no hairdryer and other items listed not there.. sorry but very overpriced!! Would not stop there again .

A brilliant stay in a beautiful hotel with amazing staff – we’d happily return.
Pros:

We loved our stay here. The hotel is in a fantastic location and has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very well presented, and the staff were outstanding – friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout our stay

Comfortable, friendly and value for money
Pros:

The windmill doesn't yet have facilities for food but are planning to resume that. This isn't a problem as it's in the very centre of Alford and has at least half a dozen cafes and takeaways within a 2 minute walk or 20 seconds in the case of Evangelenes Patisserie which I recommend. Overall a great stay with great staff.

Needs updating , urgently
Pros:

The location was good and we had the whole first floor

Cons:

It needs updating.
There was holes in the wall and the mattresses was so bad . The doors squeaked and woke us all up

The main door is locked and only 1 key was given
