Pros:

Staff are friendly place was clean.It's just a really big letdown that they don't do food or even breakfast. As there's nowhere around to get tea from the Chinese up, the road was absolutely disgusting and would never recommend there again. I believe it was called the golden delight.

Cons:

No decent food around the area and the place advertises a restaurant on the outside of the building but doesn't do any food this is false advertisement they don't even do breakfast , even just basic cereal which is a big let down during a basic continental breakfast would increase the pleasure of staying here

Pros:

Quiet, interesting building, staff were attentive when we needed something but trusted us to come and go without overfussing.

Cons:

Is a nice place. Hope it continues and does well. Can see that it may be facing difficult times so it was doing a great job, clean, friendly, relaxed.

Convenient and relaxing stay
Pros:

Location was perfect for me
Bed and pillows were very comfortable
Staff very friendly and helpful

Cons:

No food available but they allowed me to bring food in and eat in the bar.
Wifi didn't work in the room but they allowed me to work in the bar and it was fine

The hotel seemed deserted; no decor downstairs, and hardly saw any staff. Seemed like a once thriving place in decline. Within the room, bed mattress soft and springy; little room to manoevre

No frills accommodation, warm welcome and easy check in . Plenty of parking in very quiet little town. Bar but No food but lots of options locally ( deli next door opens 0730!) pleasant stay

Great value, nice rooms and superb location in centre of Alford
Pros:

In the centre of Alford, classic pub hotel,clean with comfy rooms - and free parking. There is no breakfast but plenty of cafes just opposite offering full English !

Perfectly good for family visits
Pros:

We use the hotel to visit family
We typically just need a comfy bed for the night, a hot shower and basic creature comforts. The hotel meets those requirements well.
The hotel is basic but adequate. The rooms are clean, the facilities work well, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

Nothing. It is what it is. No frills but all does what it should adequately.
