Overpriced, noisy and mediocre
Pros:

I have nothing good to say. Everything was mediocre and not up to the Hyatt standard we have experienced elsewhere.

Cons:

1) I booked only because it was supposed to have a sea view, as usual it was misleading!!!! As you can see, there is a picture from their booking page and then a picture I took.

2) Very noisy area, so you have to take into account that a peaceful vacation is not possible there. They put earplugs in the room, so draw your own conclusions.

3) The room has a tiled floor, which gets super slippery, especially in the bathroom. My husband slipped and fell sideways, luckily it was a happy accident.

4) I was not happy with the price we got. But unfortunately the whole of Playa Del Carmen is overpriced. Since there was no sea view and you couldn't go in the sea because of the seaweed, this booking was completely pointless.

5) It's not possible to be on the beach (the beach area is non-existent and there's a seaweed problem) and the pool is super small and cold.

6) We didn't have breakfast, but a margarita cocktail from the bar was the one and only thing I ordered because it tasted like cleaning fluid.

7) Another strange thing - the TV would automatically turn on every night and we would all wake up.

8) I recommend you seriously consider your options. The main street is accessible from many places and for a real experience, it is better to avoid the main street. Especially if you are a tourist from Europe and want a more authentic experience.

Beautiful but SO NOISY
Pros:

Rooms were fantatsic.

Cons:

staff on the roof bar average - no local beer, no guacamole becasue they had no avocados! (In mexico!), Reception unfriendly, just robotic and the my room next to the night club made my final night the worst ever in a hotel.

Pros:

Perfect location. Right on the beach and centrally located along 5th Avenue. Fresh bottles of water provided every day. The staff was very professional.

Cons:

The C-Grill restaurant associated with the Beach House had a good variety of breakfast items but the food isn't hot when it's served. It was warm at best.

10/10 location and room quality. Highly recommend!
Pros:

The downtown Playa del Carmen location is excellent- it's very central and located right on 5th Ave. The rooms are beautiful, loved the rain showerhead and the bed was large and comfy. Loved that the balcony was large enough for a daybed and a table. Highly recommend.

Cons:

I didn't mind it, but please not this location is right on 5th Ave. The hotel is next to restaurants that play music until midnight or later. This was not a problem for me, but if you need a super quiet room, this hotel is not for you. Two ear plugs were provided in the room.

מלון ממש נחמד למעברים ולטיולי יום מאוד נוח בגלל המיקום המרכזי שלו, האוכל גם ממש נחמד והצוות יחסית חמוד.

Cons:

זה היה ירח הדבש שלנו וזה המלון היחידי שלא הציע לנו שום דבר ולא אמר אפילו מזל טוב. הנוף מהחדר לא משהו בלשון המעטה.

Great stay! Comfortable and Clean!
Pros:

The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Every time I had a question or concern, the staff would go out of their way to help. Especially the front desk staff, Roberto and team were excellent.

Pros:

Tolles, sauberes Zimmer. Rooftop-Pool ist auch sehr toll gewesen.

Cons:

Die Lautstärke durch die zentrale Lage. ABER das ist verkraftbar und es liegen auch bereits oropax bereit. Playa del Carmen ist nun mal sehr laut.
