Convienent and hospitable

The property cheated me by placing itself near the Madurai Meenakshi temple on Hotels.com. However, this property is almost located 30min away from Madurai Meenakshi temple. Not only that, it is also very hard to find any transportation to travel from there to the temple. I didn't understand the distance until after the checkin at this which point it was too late as I planned my tours etc. from the hotel.

A lovely, pretty hotel with helpful staff, a nice swimming pool and very good food. We were very comfortable there.

Staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Excellent service at the front desk.

Place is on the outskirts, but it says on the Hotel.com website that it is walking distance from the Temple, for example; this is a misrepresentation and needs to be corrected. The room and the dining area are very unclean. Toilet amenities are of low quality

Amazing stay

Property is well built, is in a good location, staff is really helpful and the food is great. Just that, cleanliness can be improved a bit.

Pros:Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, Friendly staff, good breakfast and service, clean and good environment with easy access to places.

Cons: Gave one king suite room where TV did not work and was noisy because of some reception party was going on. Then, changed to second floor to another suite where WIFI did not work at all. complained to staff twice and there was no action taken. However, we did not bother as it was one day stay. Also, they provided stay for our driver but he said, washrooms were so dirty that he got ready in a paid washroom.

Pleasant comfortable hotel away from the noisy city centre. Very helpful staff who go the extra mile to ensure all your needs are met. Recommemd this hotel when visiting Madurai

I stayed for a night and the stay was comfortable.. breakfast was decent, can be improved..

We booked this hotel for a night stay based on Expedia's rating. The hotel is very old to be rated high. Very bad condition, unpleasant sleep due to bad mattress and pillows, bathroom was terrible. Worst thing to mention was the morning breakfast. No waiter was attending us, and we waited for a plain dosa for about 15-20 minutes. Later left the hotel without having the dosa. Front counter staff have no idea and wondering why we were disappointed. A day stay cost us INR6,000 and it was not at all worth for a hotel on the outskirt of Madurai. We paid only INR5,000 to 4.5* hotel in Chennai and the stay was so luxurious. We will never ever recommend anyone to choose this hotel for a stay in Madurai.

Needs little up date but other than not bad staff was nice breakfast not bad st all I think water is main issue in India.

Hotel is situated along the outer ring Road of the city, which makes it a convenient access from the airport . Travel to the city centre is easy although you need some time to get through the congestion. Hotel has one restaurant where the food is reasonably priced and god variety. Would recommend this hotel if you want to avoid the town center and yet have easy access. Staff re friendly and helpful. Rooms are in reasonably good condition.
