Greatest historical property decent restaurant fairly friendly staff
Booking.com didn’t tell me it was an attic unit I wouldn’t have rented it if I knew that I would’ve rented one of their more expensive units on the second floor
Shame on you, Booking.com
Beautiful building and lovely staff. Evening meal was great. Room comfortable and very clean.
Unfortunately there was a fair directly outside of the hotel and it was very noisy until the early hours of the morning, and then there was noise first thing in the morning from a running event! So didn’t get much sleep We did have an email stating there was a fair, but were told there wouldn’t be any noise after 10pm, this was not the case! And no prior warning of the running event starting early the next morning. It also meant roads were closed and we had problems when trying to leave!!
Very Friendly Staff, execellent location.
Perfect town in the Cotswalds.

Stayed in one of the garden rooms that are right next to the outdoor terrace. Lovely well equipped room. Added bonus of car parking around the back of the hotel. Great location to explore Stow and Cotswolds.
Loved the flexibility and accomodation
Nothing
Lovely rooms which were beautifully decorated.
We ate in the restaurant and the food and atmosphere was lovely.
Very little.
Lovely building and the staff are very friendly
Room 2 was very noisey with slamming doors heard from the bar below.
Also, the food in the restaurant is extremely expensive for the quality. Ribeye steak and chips should have been £20 rather than £40!
The bed was very comfy!
Everything was great!
Great experience started straightaway when we walked in. The gent at the desk checked us in, helped with my wife's bag, answered a few questions we had, and amazingly even moved his own car from the car park in the back so that we had room to park our rented car. The location, of course, is perfect, RIGHT in the heart of Stow on the Wold. We were only there for a night, but very much appreciated the bar and outdoor seating for an evening tipple, and the breakfast options in the morning, which happily included vegan fare. Twas outstanding.
Really the only minor issue was availability of parking, but the gent who greeted us when we arrived had us sorted in short order, for which are are very very grateful.
Attentive staff, fantastic evening meal and breakfast.
Nothing.
Location
Missed the crumpets at breakfast. This is tongue in cheek. I have no complaints.
