Stunning building in an excellent location.
Pros:

Excellent location, being a 10 minute walk from the harbour. Stunning exterior and fresh quirky decor in the reception rooms paying homage to the building’s newspaper origins. The bedrooms are comfortable but small if you opt for a queen room as we did.
There was a very charming young lady at reception however who offered to look after our luggage after we checked out. This was much appreciated. Breakfast was decent - fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, granola, eggs, muffins and donuts. Bikes are available to use which we definitely would have used had we stayed longer.

Cons:

I guess if you’re staying in a queen room at the top of the building you should be aware that this involves carrying your luggage up two flights of stairs.

This is all about location, location, location! And beautifully renovated!
Pros:

Breakfast room was equipped with fabulous coffee and pastries. The outside sitting area (courtyard) is very inviting for having a morning coffee. The house has been recently renovated- it showed! The decor was beautiful

Cons:

The standard size room is very small- the shower room is minuscule- but other than that, again it was very clean and beautifully furnished!

The breakfast had very few healthy options. No bread or toast. Mainly pastries.
Also, our room was near the kitchen, and in the morning it was a bit noisy.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but would probably seek an alternative if we return.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely with clean, comfortable rooms. The location can't be beat! The neighborhood is quiet but within walking distance of shops and restaurants, making this an ideal destination for a nice stay in town.

Cons:

The staff was accommodating, but disengaged. Not welcoming at all. If you ask for something, it's given, but with a clear sense of detachment and little communication. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. They're trying to provide a continental breakfast but it's heavily focused on pastries that are dry and stale. They do offer boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit, and the coffee was excellent. But please go to a bakery and get fresh pastries every day. What they do have is stored in plastic containers in the kitchen for several days and pulled out each morning. Also, breakfast is served in the kitchen, which is fine, but one of the workers would come in every morning and start the dishwasher while guests were still eating breakfast. I can get that at home.

OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY!
Pros:

The hotel was truly wonderful. Checking in was a breeze, making the start of my stay so smooth. My room was charming—bright, spotless, and peaceful, with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast setup was just right, offering a variety of healthy options that made mornings so enjoyable. LOVED IT ALL!

Charming, well located, not 5 star
Pros:

If this is the 3rd best B&B/hotel in Nantucket, TripAdvisor needs to recalibrate its rating system.

It’s a charming place with centrally located and well equipped, comfortable rooms. It’s a bit sterile as a B&B, staffed by helpful but not very alert workers - there’s no friendly innkeeper giving you advice on the town. For example, we asked the front desk worker for ideas for a bike ride and beaches and all she had to offer was that we should scan the QR code in our room.

It shouldn’t even call itself a “breakfast”, breakfast is a minimal selections of some pastries one level up from a holiday inn and an occasional boiled egg (when they aren’t out). It starts at 830, and by 910, it seemed picked clean and even out of coffee. Like how hard is it to have someone scrambling eggs and making waffles?

They do have a make your own cocktail station which was sort of nice - though missing items like simple syrup for the “sweet” element of mixing cocktails.

The grounds are really charming - pretty patios, fire pits, and flowers everywhere. They have free bikes, beach towels, and beach chairs (but no umbrellas). With a lot of coaxing they did give us a street parking pass (otherwise don’t expect parking here).

At $200/night (or even $400 for the Nantucket factor), it would get a higher rating, but at these prices, deeply disappointed.
5 Star? No way.

Our stay at the 76 Main Ink was one of the highlights of our time on Nantucket!
Pros:

The breakfast area was very nice and thoughtfully prepared. The staff communicated via text before our arrival and during our stay. The location was amazing—one block to shopping and two blocks to the city bus line for transportation around the island. The Inn was perfect!

Nothing — it was excellent

We were disappointed and, quite frankly, were glad to come home.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was great. The facility was clean and the bed was clean.

Cons:

The bathroom was MUCH too small. We're very small people and could barely turn around in it. I don't know how a normal sized person could squeeze onto the toilet. The sink wasn't draining properly. We alerted staff on our first day, but it wasn't fixed. There was no closet and only one hook to hang clothes. Breakfast was OK but most of the items were sweet. It would have been nice to include fresh oranges and bananas.
