La maison très sympathique et le style.

La chambre n’a aucune possibilité de rangement ! Pour 3/4 nuits très inconfortable !
Le café du petit déjeuner pour un européen :infecte et pas d’alternative. Une petite machine à café dans la chambre aurait été super!
We had a wonderful stay at Gilded! We booked a queen suite, which was a nice size for two people and filled with tons of beautiful natural light. The bold, colorful decor gives the hotel such a fun, unique personality. The curated small-plates breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet spot but still a short walk to downtown Newport. Highly recommend!
The shower was a little small, but that is to be expected in a historic building and didn't take away from an overall great experience!

Decor was good. Location, parking, and breakfast were good
Noise. The rooms were not sound proofed at all. I could hear everything anyone said in a neighboring room and was kept up by guests talking by the fire pit late at night.
Our sink also overlapped our toilet which was really uncomfortable.
The Gilded is a very nice, beautiful Victorian place to stay It is close to attractions, restaurants, and must see sights. The breakfast was very good with ample choices. Most impressive is the staff. They were very accommodating and willing to help wherever they could. Their response to requests was quick and always willing to do whatever they could to make your stay memorable. Parking is available on-site. Highly recommend.

Room is cozy, clean, and fun. The entire inn is themed with really cool decor, lighting, and color. Breakfast attendant was very pleasant and helpful when we needed an extra blanket. Walking distance within a 15 minute stroll to mansions and waterfront/wharf district. A very pleasant upgrade from chain hotels. And cookies available all the time! Small bites breakfast was perfect!

The Gilded is a very charming boutique hotel in a renovated Victorian home. The staff is very attentive and genuinely friendly. It is conveniently located. The walk into the center of town takes about 10 minutes. A small breakfast is served daily. The food is fresh and perfectly portioned.
We knew in advance that the lovely room would be small. It would be helpful though if a small chair could be in the room (there was space) as a seating option or another surface to place items, if needed. That was the only drawback :-) for our 1 night stay.
Great stay at Gilded! Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Walking distance to downtown with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff was very nice and accommodating! Highly recommend for a unique stay with a cozy feel and great breakfast!
The decor of the building and the comfort of the large bed and room were excellent. We were welcomed immediately and felt right at home. The courtyard was lovely with a gas fireplace to enjoy. The room temp was kept cool as it was extremely hot outside. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were very friendly.
I wished there was a bit of larger breakfast options like more yogurt or a waffle maker as I'm allergic to eggs and there were mostly egg options. The coffee wasn't strong but my husband liked it and I'm probably just picky with my coffee.
