Pros:

Alex at reception was awesome and went out of his way to make us feel valued, we asked for a few changes and he accommodated us right away so Alex my friend, thankyou. You should be promoted for you professionalism. Robbie at breakfast was also awesome, we've known Robbie for 5+ years and has always being fantastic with service and making us feel welcomed, until next time Robbie, cheers

Cons:

Upon arrival I was informed that the room had not been paid for, I had the receipts of payment and tried to show the male receptionist but he was adamant that it hadn't been. I was made to wait for 30 min and I had asked him to check against the confirmation number that I had but he still didn't do it. Then finally around the 45 minute mark he found that the room had been double booked and in actual fact it had been paid for. And for the inconvenience I was offered nothing in return even though the kitchen was still open,I hadn't eaten and I'd waited for his mistake for 50 minutes. So very poor form and I and anybody else I tell will not be returning to the Mercure.
