first experience with room with kitchen. nice
Pros:

no breakfast other than coffee. felt safe in the area. son suggested place, good enough for us.

Cons:

found bed too soft. arrived 45 minutes before check in after 4 hour ferry ride and denied room at that time. only after asking them to watch our bags did we receive the room.

Top notch accommodations and centrally located
Pros:

Very clean and in new condition - well equipped kitchenette although we did not stay longer than a day and did not use it. Would stay there again when traveling through Haines AK. A very knowledgeable and helpful counter staff on morning of departure ((10/29/2025)

Clean rooms great staff.
Pros:

One night stay before an early Ferry departure the next morning. Front desk worked to make my check in/check out easy despite being outside of their normal hours. Rooms look brand new and very clean. I left a bag behind and they made arrangements to get it to me in the next town. The staff was great.

Pros:

Visited with Family including our 9month old and they were very accommodating with check in and check out times during inclement weather. Right on Main St and right behind the Highschool. Only thing if anything is there is not a shuttle to and from Ferry/Airport but still a 5 star experience

Pros:

They don’t staff 24 hrs…let them know for late night arrival…no one on staff for early morning checkout…some of the customers just threw their keys past the grates…we just left ours in the room. Clean and comfortable room.

Lobby tucked away - not by either of the main entries. Room had an a/c that was noisy cycling on/off, which woke me up a few times in the middle of the night.

My new GOTO place to stay in Haines
Pros:

Staying at Aspen Suites in Haines was a first for myself and my nephew. What a beautiful and well set up room. Super comfy beds and peace and quiet. We didn’t hear anyone else even though it was full occupancy! The full size fridge and kitchenette were exactly what we expected. The staff were Awesome and friendly!!Aspen Suites is my new GOTO place to stay in Haines!

Comfortable rooms in great location
Pros:

Great hotel. This is a very quiet hotel situated in a perfect location. Rooms were quite, comfortable, and the staff from check in to housekeeping were great. I'd stay again.

Belle petite kitchenette, pratique et parfaitement bien équipée, de quoi se faire à manger puisque l’on est en plein centre à proximité des supermarchés et des restaurants pour les soirs où on a envie d’autre chose.
Hotel bien situé.

Aspen Hotel in Haines Alaska
Pros:

We had a terrific stay. Room was clean and communication with and by the staff was excellent. We arrived via Alaska Marine Highway at noon and really appreciated being offered early check in. Outstanding customer service.
