very friendly staff especially Dimuthu. Lovely owners. Right on the beach. Restaurant food fantastic.

Hotellet ligger precis vid stranden och har en fin utsikt över havet från restaurangen. Kvinnan som driver hotellet samt övrig personal var otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam. Rummen var stora och fina! Skulle verkligen rekommendera detta hotellet till andra.
Det enda negativa var att vi hade bokat ett basic-rum där det stod att det skulle ingå ac men när vi skulle checka in så menade dem att ac inte ingår i dem rummen så vi fick betala lite extra för det. Hotellet ligger ganska ensamt på stranden och därför finns det inte speciellt mycket restauranger att välja på precis i närheten men både Mirissa och Weligama ligger bara en kort tur med tuktuk bort så det är inget problem alls.

A very pleasant place located next to the beach a bit from town center, which also makes it a quite place. The food is good, with many international options as well as local options. The staff are friendly and accommodating. And there is a good beginner surf area just out the door. I recommend this place.

Vi hadde eit kjempeflott opphold på Latheena! God service og nydelig mat på restauranten! Litt dårlig WiFi på rom og restaurant, men ellers ingenting å klage over!

Not many hotels in Sri Lanka can live up to U.K. Cleaning standards but this hotels was spotless. We really enjoyed our stay, a little walk into the main night life area and Rs150 in a tuk tuk back. Food at the hotel was ok and laundry service was great at only Rs50 for large items. Would recommend this to anyone.

Hotel beds where good, not too hard or soft. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits. Location of the hotel and restaurant is very nice by the beach away from the crowd and noise.
Restaurant was so good! Excellent food made by Japanese chef who also is the owner. Before sunset they move tables to the beach so you can watch the sunset while you drink or eat by the sea.

The Latheena was simple and charming. I don't know what these other reviewers expect, but this guest house was right in line with similar beach-front properties I have stayed. Room was clean and simple, rate for location is excellent, Wifi is good, and check-in and check-out was no hassle. The owners are friendly, and they leave you alone to enjoy your privacy. They also have an on-site restaurant which is so good it attracts guests from the surrounding hotels. Beach is right outside your doorstep, with options for surfing lessons and board rentals. If you are afraid of small bugs or lizards, then maybe you shouldn't stay at the beach. All local places are like this, it's not the Hyatt. The air-conditioning is strong and refreshing. My only suggestion is that the bed could be more comfortable, you can feel the frame underneath you. Will definitely stay again when I am back in Mirissa.

Stedet ligger på stranden, hvor man kan bade eller surfe. Restauranten serverer gennemsnitlig mad.
Fin wifi i hovedhuset, men sløvt i værelset tættest på stranden.
Værelset var rent og rummeligt.
Personalet er flinkt og hjælpsomme.
Generelt har stedet potentiale, men det er ikke vedligeholdt så godt, så det fremstår generelt lidt slidt. En kærlig hånd kunne få stedet til at være ganske pænt.

Comfortable hotel with great access to the beach. Good beach. Friendly helpful staff. Food very good better than I would have expected. Good food selection.

It was very good. If you want to stay peaceful and comfortable place, it's the best. Host was very nice. She is always asking whether it's okay. I think it's the best hotel ever in Sri Lanka.

酒店老板有自己的珠宝店，餐厅，旅店，在科伦坡也有生意，非常的富有。
他们有一个大家庭，女婿帮忙一起打理酒店，特地去日本学过料理，所以海边餐厅有很多的日本人来用餐。
我们在他这里买了石榴石的戒指。
我们的房间有空调，有电扇，晚上伴着海浪声入睡，非常的好。早餐免费，吃的豪华极了。
推开房门就是海景。唯一不足的是浴室洗澡的水实在是太小了。
