Pros:

The room was not well maintained, and there was no hot water available during our stay, which was quite inconvenient. Communication was also a challenge, as most of the staff did not understand English, making it difficult to explain our requirements.

Although the staff were kind and friendly in their behavior, the overall service experience was disappointing. After completing the payment, it was difficult to reach the room service team for basic requests like cleaning or arranging hot water.

Considering these issues, I would not recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

One of the best stays in Weligama
Pros:

The free breakfast was top notch! The staff were very accommodative and friendly. The vibe and atmosphere at the property was definitely peaceful, quiet, and was literally a minutes walking distance from the beach. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, affordable, and enjoyable get away.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was up to standard.

A nice accommodation in Weligama 🩷
Pros:

Overall I'm satisfied with the accommodation, the staff were very nice, I had great breakfast in Fujisan restaurant every day & also dinner. In general the food there is very tasty and the prices are also very good, other people were coming to eat there. The staff in the restaurant were very nice, polite and attentive. The accommodation is first line, a few steps to the ocean. I liked the beach, very big and not crowded at all, it's so big that you even feel it's all yours. For the money I paid, I guess it was worth it. Thanks for a comfortable & safe stay ❤️

Cons:

I had a few ants in the room almost every day, but no big deal in such a country, but hopefully no other insects. The room needs a deep cleaning, especially in not visible areas.

I’ll advise to stay there if you don’t have a bike or car and have child
Pros:

Very comfortable room, close to fujisun restaurant, 50m to the beach, surfboards available there

Cons:

Close to main road and rail road - first time seams noisy, but in 3rd day in’s nevermind :)

Pros:

Excellent sea food restaurant with direct access to the beach. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons:

Rooms were spacious and clean but unattractive and old.

Would definitely return. An amazing restaurant (Fujisan)
Pros:

Thé food in the restaurant was exceptional .The staff were great very friendly and helpful especially Santoosh and Dimootu. The beach was clean and much quieter than the beaches in the centre of Weligama. Great for surfing. About a mile out of town but you can walk along the beach or grab a Tuk Tuk

Very good prices in the restaurant available in the same location, friendly staff, great manager taking care of us as special guests from the house. Thank you for your hospitality... Overall very cozy place at very affordable price, amazing breakfast and sea food platter (find photos attached). Highly recommended if you need a place to sleep, enjoy alive surroundings, bathroom was renovated and the place definetly exceeded our expectation. Easy to travel by TukTuk to different beaches - Mirissa and Turtle beach near by and easily accessible... We regret that we didn't choose to stay for longer time. In Bentota we visited next and it is not so alive, after 7 PM everything is closing and we miss Latheena resort already and Weligama 🫶

Cons:

First night when we arrived the boiler was not working, however the next morninh a new one was installed without delay. Thank you for acting prompt on it... 🙂
