Pros:

The rooms were comfortable including the beds. Very friendly staff. Great restaurants all walking distance. Beautiful water views.

Cons:

Although I knew this, people should be aware that this motel is on a very busy road that you have to cross to get to the waterfront so there is a lot of traffic noise.

Overpriced
Pros:

The room was spacious, well appointed, clean, and nicely decorated. The walkways and stairwells were very clean. Do be aware that the bathroom door is a sliding barn door with a half inch gap. If you are sharing the room, there is not much privacy.

Cons:

Although the room was nice, I did not feel like this was a good value. The view is obstructed by a busy highway and power lines. The patio was nice but noisy because of the highway and restaurant attached to the hotel. You park at the rear of the hotel and also have to walk around the rear of the hotel to get anywhere. There are dumpsters everywhere, garbage, and very smelly vats of used grease from the restaurant. It felt like a very dirty alley. The room was uncomfortably warm. The rooms face South which make for a beautiful view but the sunlight into the room would require a more efficient air conditioner. It was only a 75° day but the air conditioner was spewing warm air so it was cooler outside. The solution offered to me was to take a lesser room, no view, and only slightly cooler because all of the sunlight was blocked by the lack of view. I was told there would be no change in price, and they would simply stick the next person with the warmer room. I didn't really consider that an attractive solution. This also told me that probably all of the rooms have the same issue.

The rooms are clean and vibrant. Modern design. The location is great, I was initially a bit worried with traffic going back and forth and I would heart it. But turns out once the balcony door closed, you could hardly hear any traffic sound

Disappointed and dumbfounded
Pros:

We originally booked this accommodation based on its oceanside views and positive reviews as we needed a space big enough to accommodate our family of 5 (3 kids, aged 6, 4 and 1). We were given the ‘family room’.

Cons:

We were sadly disappointed on arrival by the state of the apartment. Firstly, the price of the room was far beyond the quality we received. The term ‘villa’ is highly misleading. The AC was outdated, noisy and completely useless. On an average summer day of 23 degrees our apartment measured 30+ in both bedrooms. The kitchenette was tiny and understocked. The furniture was breaking down due to poor quality and age. There was a musty smell lingering throughout the apartment. Our 1 year old was able to open the front door without any problem (unsafe as we were situated on the second floor with no double-lock on the door). The shower wand was leaking. The ‘priceless’ ocean view was obstructed by multiple RVs who were able to park (for free) just in front of the hotel, which was next to the main road (car noises all night long). Ultimately we checked out after a single night.
