The ambience and friendly helpful staff especially Gemma front of house.
The heat but can’t blame the Bull for that.
Great location and staff were lovely and friendly.
Beautiful building with an open courtyard, but what made this visit so good was the staff. The staff made our stay comfortable and pleasant, they are knowledgeable, hardworking and still remain extremely pleasant and eager to make your stay special. There is free parking for guests at the rear in a dedicated car park, stroll through the courtyard and you're there. Food was excellent and the availability of local produce was really good, you should try the eggs a local delicacy. Our room was spotless and as it's in the middle of a heat wave a high quality cooling fan was in operation when we arrived. The room was comfortable with all hotel amenities available. It's a gem of a hotel and the staff just elevate it further.
There was nothing to dislike on our stay.
Big room and good location
Room far too hot and only one small fan that kicked out warm air and couldn’t open windows apart from wedging a cushion under the window to give a tiny gap of fresh air
Excellent dinner in the evening and friendly staff
The fan in our room was a bit lack lustre on a very hot day but a minor issue.
Lovely old building very tastefully decorated in a great location in Bridport.
Lovely patio for outdoor dining / drinks. Very nice breakfast made either very good quality ingredients.
On-site parking.
A little expensive
We very much liked the breakfasts
Sfeervol hotel, uitstekend ontbijt a la carte
Onze kamer bleek een bloedhete zolderkamer te zijn.de ventilator bracht nauwelijks verkoeling en de ramen konden maar een klein stukje open
Central location and very clean. Breakfast was brilliant.
Poor layout in the bedroom meant we could not see the TV clearly.
Lovely room and breakfast was very nice , location very good
We know the hotel and it was as expected, staff were excellent, food and drink very good
Our room was extremely hot, it should have been aired for several hours prior to our arrival
Everything was great. Staff, food, helpfulness
Dinner bookings finished very early. We tried to get a table at 8:10 on Sunday and were told the kitchen was closed. We should have read the in room information however it does seem very early to shut a hotel kitchen. Luckily there was a very nice Thai across the road.
Beautiful room and bathroom. Fluffy towels and robes.
All good
Fabulous room 226
Breakfast was great, but the wait was painful and rather prompt at clearing the continental table away. Basically, informing half an hour before service finished.
Sash windows that you can’t open properly- on the 3rd floor in warm weather and the room was baking hot despite the Dyson air circulator - Farmers market of some sort we’re setting up stalls outside at the crack of dawn when we had already hardly slept a wink
