100% recommend if price is the main criteria. Close to restaurants, thrift stores, and other services, as well as to the metro which easily connects you to the rest of the city.
Do not recommend if you need some comfort. Very very small room; very active street at night without great noise cancellation (I was on the 9th floor); no need to swipe the room card to get on the elevator up to the rooms. Still recommend if you're a tourist that is on a budget.

Tidy room and no hot water
The location was good, the bed decent and the roof top terrace an unexpected treat.
The room was incredibly small, especially considering the price. At first we did not have hot water and we had to really insist to have staff acting on our request to fix it. They were not very forthcoming and basically shrugged their shoulders and said that we could claim compensation via Booking. Eventually it was however fixed and we could have a decent shower in the evening of our second day in the hotel.

Très sale, très bruyant ! Mur d’une épaisseur de carton! Obligés de trouver un autre hôtel dans l’urgence, une heure après l’enregistrement, tant celui-ci est répugnant !
Great location, close to subways, plenty of bars and restaurants close by, neighbourhood felt safe to wander in during the evening, complimentary tea and coffee always available, appreciated being able to leave luggage on departure day and collect later.
V small rooms with bed against the wall so 1 person had to climb over the other to get out, would have appreciated bedside table and sockets near the bed, complimentary breakfast seemed to be put out late while we were there (ie after 8.30am) so we weren't able to enjoy it. No mention of hotel facilities when we checked in so we weren't aware of the guest lounge until we checked out and discovered it by accident whilst looking for the toilet.
Prime location in the Lower East Side.
The water pressure was very poor and the hot water lasted for *maybe* 20 seconds which was less than ideal after a long day.
Hotel location is excellent.
The room is extremely small and there is no place you store your clothing. None whatsoever.
Biggest problem we had was with the AC, it was simply not working and the staff did not really care.
Keep in mind that the hotel is located it a REALLY noisy and busy street. It might not be for everyone.
Nice lobby area, comfortable bed
No amenities in the room. No fridge, microwave, no coffee machine, shower never got hot, extremely loud neighborhood at night.

No breakfast available!
Location great, priced reasonably, access to full length mirror, decent view/rooftop was nice, bed reasonably comfortable, staff responsive to request for more linens. I read reviews about lack of hot water and AC not working, but we had no issues with either.
No ice, no fridge in room, iron was leaking water and weird dust was coming out of it onto my nice clothing, nowhere to unpack, sink was so small it was hard not to get water everywhere when washing my face.

La ubicacion, muy bien conectado en metro y andando se puede ir a China Town, Soho, Greenwhich Village, etc
Hay un pequeño comedor café y madalenas que para desayunar te puede venir bien.

El agua de la ducha estaba fria, había que dejarla correr 20 minutos con el consiguiente desperdicio de agua,
El mando de la tele cambiamos dos veces porque no funcionaba.
