Hotel with wonderful environment and excellent staff and service by fair price
Pros:

Firstly, the wonderful staff who received and supported me during my stay.
Secondly, the location and the lovely jungle-life environment of hotel.

It had a Jungle feel and away from the noise of the busy streets.

Nice hotel but a little overpriced
Pros:

The location, the pool, the ayurvedic massage. We had a large superior room but with no view.

Cons:

The shower was open to the elements and filled up with leaves. The staff's limited command of English made arranging things unnecessarily difficult sometimes.

We were disappointed and it certainly did not live up to its reviews.
Pros:

Breakfast was good as was the evening meal we had.

Cons:

Our room wasn’t very pleasant - certainly no views of the sea. It looked and felt run down and wasn’t in the main building. We overlooked a car park.

Yoga
Pros:

I did yoga here, it was the best activity I've ever been to. The coach is a professional, he tells and explains everything. I don't know English well, but I understood everything. I recommend yoga here.

Very friendly and quiet hotel
Pros:

We had a very nice time in this hotel. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. They did their utmost to make our stay a pleasant one. The food was delicious, the room was clean and tidy. Its very near everything we needed for our last 4 days at sri lanka.

Pros:

The guesthouse has a great location, close to the beach and the main promenade, but tucked away so it's quiet. The staff, as everywhere in Sri Lanka, are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cool, colonial style. Large terrace. The hotel is a bit in the woods, so you have to hide your things from the terrace so that the monkeys don't steal them. Breakfast is okay, the choice is not very large, a bit heavy for our European stomachs (pasta, curry, dahl, etc.). The staff will fry omelets/scrambled eggs/fried eggs on request. Very good fresh fruit. I definitely recommend it.

Secluded hotel close to the beach
Pros:

Very well placed in a peaceful part of Unawatuna. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. An excellent room with an outdoor shower which was quite novel. Good buffet breakfast too.

Cons:

The shower was a ‘dribble’ but that didn’t detract from our stay.

Pros:

Chambre spacieuse avec douche à l’extérieur. Jolie piscine bien arboré. Personnel très sympathique. Les chambres sont bien éloignés les uns des autres avec petite terrasse privative. L’autre hôtel qui donne directement sur la plage permet d’avoir gratuitement des matelas de plage. Le restaurant y est bon .

Nagyszerű helyen, egy ugrásra a strand és az éttermek, mégis csendes, dzsungeles környezetben

Aki nem szereti az állatok közelségét, annak zavaró lehet, hogy a majmok ott laknak a fákon. Nekünk ez is élmény volt. Éjszaka hallani lehet az állatok mozgását.

Pros:

Personalet var virkelig imødekommende og hjælpsomme! De gav inspiration til hvor man skulle tage hen, fik hjælp med leje af scooter. Det var muligt at låne søsterhotellers pool og liggestole.
Poolen på stedet var dejlig ren og hyggelig at være i. Morgenmaden var den bedste vi har fået i Sri Lanka, stor buffet hvor head cheaf Layahal står og laver lige de æg man har lyst til. Dygtig kok!
Især Nudun Gimhan ydede virkelig en god service, altid en smil på læben og hjælpsom når vi havde brug for det. Og Tee som hjalp med anbefalinger til lokalområdet.

Komfortable und schöne Unterkunft mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal!
Pros:

Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden wunderbar erfüllt. Es war wunderschön und gut gelegen 😊
