Villa Das Mangas Garden Hotel

No friendly contacts and very poor follow-up of the room amenities.

Excellent location. Lovely setting with wonderful staff who are always friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much for them.
Planning to return to this little charm.

Woken at 5-30 am on Tuesday morning to move my car, landary wet, air con broken, no hot water Wednsday morning, checking out issues.

Loved the pool and the trees poolside. The room and the breaky weren’t anything to write home about. Friendly management and staff. Located in a lovely, buzzing part of Maputo.

Very comfortable. Staff attentive to my needs. Great value for money.

The rooms were good but no water
Informed reception and was told would be 10 mins
We had 2 rooms in one the water was freezing and the other no water at all
2 Prostitutes approached me and my grown up son whilst having a drink by pool the evening we stayed!!

Very nice staff, very good food (for Mozambique), super nice vibe, but not too clean , and no water, no coffee kettle and small room (we took the cabana room, which is a superior room)

Staff was friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant is convenient with timely service. Wifi worked well in all areas of the guesthouse. The cleanliness of the rooms and condition of the shower requires immense improvement.

Well priced hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good security. Easy check in process. Great lunch/dinner restaurant food which means you don’t need to drive in the evenings since there is a bar and some nights live entertainment like jazz bar. They do need to improve on the breakfast session though and have an English version of the menu .

Wifi doesn’t work well in the rooms, you have to sit in the pool/garden area to get it. Connection dropped frequently. The rooms are pretty simple for the price, but the location is good, near to a lot of restaurants.

GREAT LOCATION. NICE HOTEL AND RESTUARANT. HOWEVER THE SERVICE IN THE RESTUARANT NEEDS TO IMPROVE. ALSO ONSITE PARKING CRAMPED AND DIFFICULT TO ACCESS. STAFF AT RECEPTION GREAT AND ACCOMMODATING. OVERALL A GOOD HOTEL TO STAY.

Must come prepared with drinking water, kettle and coffee. The keurig machine had none. Nice teas tho. Luxury room had smart design, comfortable bed, plenty of outlets and a very pretty view of the garden. Buffet breakfast was good with very good coffee. But, there was no description of services, outside of notice at reception of checkout and at restaurant about breakfast hours. We liked the reception and staff. We'll return.

Bookings were mixed up, wasn't given the room I booked and room condition was not up to standard.

It was OK. The room was pretty cramped. The shower leaked and there was water all over the bathroom that went into the room. One of my towels was dirty. Bar soap would be nice as the liquid soap provided smelled really weird. The people/staff were really nice friendly and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is 10/10!
I would however suggest that the area where they serve breakfast should be bigger as it is very small

Very disorganised hotel with poor facilities. Desperately in need of upgrade of rooms. Disappointing on most levels. Staff are friendly and accommodating but need a stronger managerial structure to pick up service.

The hotel was nice for the price, but big challenges with WiFi connectivity being spotty and lots of mosquitoes in the rooms

The Hotel in a noisy neighbourhood and evenings are very noisy. Staff could do with Hotel training, as their service leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast, they are stock outs, the staff serve you with plates and cutlery dripping with water, and their hands wet. The rooms are too small, squashed. Water glasses at reception take long to change after being used.

They have small cups for coffee, and I requested for a normal cup, which never came.

A hotel I will not visit again especially for pleasure, as I was using it for business, getting there after meetings in the evening.
