This hotel is absolutely horrible. They might have a good price, but the guys who work there are running a scam. After I checked into my room, I went to get dinner. I wasn't gone long. Immediately upon entering the lobby, the desk guy radioed another worker that I had come back early and to get out of my room. Little did they know I speak and understand Spanish. Because I came back so quickly, the other guy acted like he was doing something in the adjoining room next to my room. The safety latch was also broken. It was 8 p.m., and no housekeeping was left on site. The minute I closed my door, he bolted away out of the other room. I immediately checked my safe, and my diamond earrings were missing. I went downstairs, asked to see the cameras, and they would not let me. I told them I knew they were running a scam, and I was going to call the police, which I did. I then packed up and waited for the police to arrive. It's NYC; they never showed up. I asked for a full refund, and they would not give it to me. I asked to call the manager. They would not. After waiting 2 hours for the police, I was worried I'd lose the other hotel I had rebooked. So I left. The next day, I went to the 72nd precinct and filed a police report. The police were ridiculous, and I barely got them to make out a report. Do not stay at this hotel. The people who work there can get into your room and safe with the master key card. It is not safe for your things. They could even have hidden cameras. I would not be surprised. Especially women. Do not stay there. I travel all over the world for work, and I have never been so shocked by this type of scam. I'm also from Chicago; I'm not some country bumpkin who doesn't know a scam. Please do not stay at this hotel. Your items aren't safe, and you possibly aren't either.
Average experience. lipstick on towels. mirrors were dirty. I wound up getting an additional charge on my card. I still haven't heard back from anyone.
Staff was very nice. Shower was great and had great water pressure. Very quiet room and never hear anyone else. Bed was comfortable.
Room was a small and run down. Curtains were tattered and dirty.
We had a premium king room, which was supposed to be larger. However, there was barely any place for walking inside
