Staff all extremely helpful and very supportive and knowledgeable. Great at advising best routes and transport to take for the sites. Hotel in a great location but requires some updating

Pool was great , but now closed for a few days , BUT they let you use the pools across the street 👍

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff SO friendly and helpful. Great location: boat nearby to Wat Pho, Arun & palace plus Siam Icon. I walked to other sites and lots of bars/cafes/restaurants near to walk to.
Reviews prior made me nervous but it was so much better. Comfy bed, robes, slippers, toiletries & waters/tea/coffee. Bathroom small but still adequate. Many plug sockets.
Safe area.
Pool really good (long hours) & fab breakfast with different Thai curries each day (and all the Western food).
3 star bedroom but hotel nearly 4 star & our time there/Bangkok experience 10/10

Old style hotel. Great location walk to Khosan Road, Kings Palace and access to River boats from Pier 13

The location was the only good part, walking distance to tourist attractions (the temples, Khao San Rd, and Rajamadernam Stadium, restaurants, lots of shopping and by the river). However, the hotel is very outdated, and there were little bugs in our room, even when we switched rooms we still found some. The overall cleanliness was okay but I did smell black mold. I forgot the names but the young lady with glasses at the front desk and the bellman were very nice and helpful. But the other two men working at the front desk were not. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Beautifully decorated ‘Old School’ hotel with premium amenities and well maintsined. Excellent breakfast, lovely pool, views and staff, all for a reasinsbke price.

Definite deterioration in cleanliness, breakfast was poor, towels very old and too expensive for the quality

Excellent 2nd stay on this trip to Thailand. Would stay here again but upgrade to a river view room or defintely stay in an inside room....no street view room due to the noise post 02:00 am when the locals like to speed up and down the street at incredible speed.

Very happy with our initial stay at the beginning of our trip to Thailand. Late arrival and the room was ready and we could get to sleep straight away. Breakfast was good though variety was not large for the 7 days that we stayed here. Staff are excellent and any issue was resolved very quickly. Always smiling and ready to assist. The independent tour desk is a must for any tour that you wish to take. You will be supplied with what has been promised unlike the ones on the street. Heard some horror stories from buying tours off the street ( floating market is one example).

Clean and comfortable room, very nice swimming pool, great location. Location. Friendly and helpful staff. Includes breakfast buffet but it didn't really have anything for vegetarians other than occasionally some mixed fried vegetables.

The hotel is very dated and old. Wifi and aircon both bad.
A few minutes walk to pier to go iconsiam and chinatown by boat.
No BTS or Metro near by.
Lots of food and local crafts to buy if you interested.

internet was not consistant, shower smelled like mold and fixture shower sprayer was so high was unable to use it.
location was very good along river. hotel staff struggled with english language. dated hotel

Stay here for the location only. Close to the river taxi, Khoasan Rd, tons of cute cafes and restaurants are nearby. The view from the pool is very nice. Pool is nice but not maintained structurally. I sliced my foot on a broken tile in the pool. Hallways are dark and dingy and rooms are tired. Good for a night. Price reflects condition of hotel.
