A nice relaxing haven
Pros:

The location next to the river in the historical heart of Bangkok is a great feature of this hotel. It is close to river taxis for convenience with eating venues at a range of prices nearby . The pool and open air eating area overlooking the river are very relaxing. Lobby and ground floor indoor areas with restaurant are spacious and cool. The staff are always gracious, welcoming and helpful. We arrived in the low season of May with very hot weather combined with rain and also fewer guests due to current Iran conflict. This was ideal for us because the hotel wasn't crowded with guests and everything was really tranquil.

Cons:

The cheaper inner facing rooms are adequate but could do with an upgrade. On the other hand, the aircon still functions well and the price of such rooms is good, condidering the advantages of the riverside views and outdoor facilities.

Hôtel bien placé, calme et personnel accueillant.
Pros:

Il y a toujours de l’air frais grâce au petit courant de la rivière, la piscine est très appréciable, le personnel adorable. Hôtel dans un tres bon emplacement.

Cons:

Il y a très peu de choix dans la carte « spéciale » des menus demi-pensions. Ça ne vaut pas vraiment la peine.

Lovely stay 4 times in 2 years.
Pros:

An oasis in Bangkok. Modest but perfect location next to the river and a few hundred metres to hop on hop off boat tour. Walking distance to market area. I’ve stayed here 4 times in 2 years. Love it.
