Super Lage und schöner Außenbereich, aber leider auch Renovierungsstau in den Gästezimmern

Die Lage ist sehr gut, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, gutes Restaurant mit schönem Außenbereich und sehr nettes Personal. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Anregung: im Außenbereich des Restaurants würden ein paar Ventilatoren sehr angenehm sein.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Fußböden, Farbanstriche etc. benötigen dringend eine Erneuerung. Die Steuerung der Klimaanlage war eine Katastrope. Auch die Geruchsbelästigung nach der Raumdesinfektion (vermutlich gegen Ungeziefer) war auch nach Stunden noch enorm. Die ehemals wahrscheinlich weißen Handtücher erstrahlten in einem frischen Grau.

Good location but not great value.
Pros:

Location was great, very close for site seeing and on the river which was lovely. Great to experience the night life on the river and good pool.

Cons:

Old hotel and dated rooms.
Paid for half board but it’s very limited with same options every day and hotel is very inflexible to offer more options, take away, or give people their money back when options are further limited because people might not eat beef or pork. Half board not worth the money and the hotel isn’t not value for money. The menu should be advertised and available at time of booking to make an informed decision but it isn’t and they don’t see anything wrong with this.
No drinks offered with half board, you have to pay extra for this.
Even how cheap food is in Thailand… it’s not worth the money as you’re going to pay for food outside the hotel anyways.

A little gem of a hotel

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen in sehr guter Lage
Pros:

Gute Lage um mit dem Boot zu den Tempeln und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen oder zu Fuß in die Khaosan Road zu kommen.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und zeigt teils dringlichen Renovierungsbedarf (u.a. Wasserschäden, etc.). Dadurch wirkt das Hotel ungepflegt obwohl die Sauberkeit an sich absolut in Ordnung ist.

最高、タイ大好き
Pros:

靴を脱いで上がれるお部屋で、部屋も清潔に掃除されていたのでとてもリラックスできた。
スタッフさんもあまり言葉の通じない私にも皆さん大変快い対応をしてくださった。
レストランはチャオプラヤ川に面した屋外席があり、ゆっくりと静かな時間を過ごすことができた。メニューもたくさんあり、今回は頼まなかったが洋食や日本食も少し取り扱いがあった。タイの干し肉と、スイカスムージーが◎
ホテルの立地は、王宮やワットアルンに比較的近めなので、その辺りに観光にいくなら使いやすいと思う。歩いて行ける距離に朝市があったり、ホテルの周辺にもご飯屋さんがたくさんあって良かった。
女性の一人旅だったが、安心して泊まることができた。次にタイに行く時も是非利用したい。

Nice hotel on A good location
Pros:

Nice hotel in a good location. Cozy pool area and we had great views of the river from our top floor balcony. The staff was super friendly.

Cons:

The hotel is old and run down. The rooms, public areas and pool area need renovation. It's a shame that such a nice hotel has been left in such poor condition.

Gutes Stadthotel in bester Lage zum sehr günstigen Preis
Pros:

Die tolle Lage direkt am Fluss, gute Ausgangsposition für Fahrten mit dem Public boat. Das Restaurant mit dem wunderbaren Frühstücksbufett und guter Küche zu sehr moderaten Preisen und der Pool direkt am Fluss. Die Nähe zur Khao San bietet besonders am Abend viel Abwechslung und etliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Service war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer (vor allem die Bäder) sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

Heerlijk hotel!
Pros:

Mooi groot balkon met prachtig uitzicht 6 hoog!
Fijne douche. Veel legruimte. Heel mooi zwembad.
Goed ontbijt op gezellig terras bij de rivier.
Erg lekker eten en goede witte wijn!
Prima locatie, dichtbij de rivier en de pier en op loop afstand van de gezellige Khao San buurt.
Hele goede service van receptie en hotelpersoneel.

Cons:

Halfpension: weinig keuze, alleen kip en varkensvlees. Maar het eten was erg lekker en de Tom Khai Ka soep werd ook vegetarisch geserveerd met heerlijke groenten!
Ligbedden bij zwembad graag wat beter schoon maken.
Bij de pier is het lastig opstappen op de oranje en gele boten, zeker als je richting Nonthaburi wilt. Het is de eindhalte van de duurdere blauwe express boten.

Cons:

Man merkt es den Zimmern schon an das sie in die Jahre gekommen sind. Das Laminat geht langsam auseinander. Und wenn der Fernseher funktioniert hätte wäre es auch nicht schlecht gewesen. Aircondition kam an ihre Grenzen.
