Fui con mi mamá un par de días. Las habitaciones diferentes a las fotos de la página. El edificio es viejo

Location and service was great, but many desk workers only spoke Spanish. Being very close to the Malecon area and tourist attractions was convenient and safe.

The condition of the hotel needs updating. There was a full time handy man and he seemed to be working on projects daily, but the hotel seemed 2.5 stars at most.

The lobby area was small and had limited amenities, just water and instant coffee. Hotel wi-fi was spotty and inconsistent.

The bedroom was spacious enough for three beds, but the bathroom was tiny. A small sink, toilet and shower only. Not like the pics -- probably the suite bathroom is in the photos. The shower was very narrow and had poor water flow. The complimentary shampoo was sample sizes of head and shoulders for men. Seriously.

One of our rooms had a fridge but the other did not. The one without a fridge had a dresser. It was air conditioned which is not standard in Ecuador, so a plus. No coffee maker or iron in the room. Hotel provided a bottle of water each day.

The stay included breakfast was delicious, but served cafeteria tray style. Take some of everything since there are no seconds, and you may not know which dishes you will like unless you're a native.

Again, the location and service was great, but it is not a 3.5 star hotel.

Buena ubicación en El Centro de la cuidad. Las instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento.

- I waited around 20 minutes to order my breakfast, but no possibility, because around 28-30 other guests where there, too. I left the room and will pay on my own later on somewhere else in the city breakfast. Two members of the stuff were absolutely to less for so many guests!
- The water in my room (5.th floor) was cold, no chance that it changed to a warm water so i had to shower cold. Thanks for such a nice start in my sunday!
- The concierge tried to ask for 10 dollar more when i made my check-inn. My sum was on her screen, i saw it, but she asked for more money but i discussed and told her, that expedia told me another price. After 2 minutes she gave me the price, for which i booked this hotel! Such a shame, that she asked for more money!
- There was no remote control for the air conditioner in my room.
- The bed is broken i think, it makes a lot of sounds when you move on it or sit on it.

Hotel is good for sleeping in the inner city of Guayaquil, a typical small breakfast for this country is included and the staff is very helpful. They can call taxis, but it is better to ask before prices, because they gave me once a taxi driver who took much more money from me than usual taxi because i was not an Ecuadorian, so take care and ask before of costs and take maybe another taxi.

Für den Preis akzeptabel, schade dass das Bad so alt ist, ansonsten keine Beanstandungen.

The only negative about the place was the shower. VERY low flow. Other than that, the place was great. The location, three blocks from the Malecón can’t be beat. Will recommend.

cerca del centro y del malecon, demasiado ruido en las habitaciones que dan a la calle principal. Mi estadia fue por trabajo y mi habitacion tenia una pequeña mesa auxiliar pero no asiento.

A fairly good place for Guayaquil. Nothing great, a bit weak on breakfast. Fairly good location.

When i book into a Best Western Hotel around the world i expect a certain level of service and quality.

The bedroom was dirty, the bed was old and wobbly and i landed up with bed bug bites.
There was no hot water.
Also, the rate quoted excludes tax. so i landed up paying a lot more than i anticipated for the room.
Shocking
