The staff were so friendly and helpful. The air con in the room was amazing and we just loved the vibe of the hotel. We would definitely stay again
That only 2 glasses and 2 mugs for 4 people - would have been better to have one each
Room
FAO James Doyle - Further to my recent stay & previous review at the Hilton Bournemouth, I have stayed again 28th May, and was unfortunately quite disappointing. On arrival, reception was a little delayed, although it seemed this was due to a few guests needing extra assistance, so completely understandable.
Later, when I went to the restaurant as a single diner, I was informed there would be at least a 45-60minute wait for food. The restaurant itself had several dirty tables, and staff were clearly rushed and stretched thin, suggesting understaffing.
Hoping for an alternative, I went to the rooftop bar, which I was pleased to see had reopened, as I was only looking for a light snack. However, I was told it was available exclusively to Diamond members. While I respect the policy, it was disappointing—especially in the context of an already under-resourced restaurant. I left and ate elsewhere. It did make me wonder whether staffing had been redirected to other areas?
The rooms are good, clean, nicely presented so no issues for the main part of the hotel.
Overall, the experience fell short of expectations for the Hilton brand, and it has left me reconsidering whether to stay again in the future, I do like staying here, however its so frustrating the food options are below par!!!!
Konumu güzel
My wife, children, and I booked two king-size rooms. However, our rooms were on the seventh floor and there was no balcony. The view was also very poor, overlooking old buildings. That was not a major issue for us, but the hotel itself was extremely uncomfortable. We trusted the name and chose it because it was a Hilton hotel, but unfortunately it turned out to be very disappointing.
The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, as if they were forty years old. They made loud noises every time we moved, and it felt like the springs were coming out of the mattresses. I can honestly say there was almost no service. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels before, especially in Türkiye. The service, facilities, breakfast, parking areas — everything was excellent. This experience was a huge disappointment for me. I will never stay at a Hilton here again. Would you like photos of our stay? Honestly, there was nothing worth photographing from the room they gave us. Forget about a sea view — we felt almost trapped in the room. There was no balcony, and even the windows could not be opened, which made the room very hot. Because of that, it was not really possible to take any decent photos.
The only place where photos could maybe be taken was the eighth floor. However, when we went there, we were told that area was reserved for Diamond members, so we did not stay there either. In any case, it was only a one-night stay.
Overall, it was extremely average — actually very poor. There is no need for photos. We rented two separate rooms, and in my opinion, the money we paid was completely wasted. Honestly, even a small boutique hotel would have been better than this place.
Other than the location, nothing was good. There was not even proper parking. The hotel only had a small parking area underneath the building, and it took us about half an hour to find a space. On top of that, they charged us around £13.50–£15 for parking. The whole experience was very disappointing.
The staff were excellent & it was central to everything
The mattress on the bed was a little uncomfortable maybe it was just my bed!!!
The health centre was not in full bloom no sauna or steam working
The location
Long queue to check in. We had to wait on the street whilst being hot. 40 min wait for the check in
Location
The staff in reception were rude

The prices could be a bit better
Dinner was good and the staff were all polite. Receptionist was very accommodating in providing somewhere for us to change before checking in
Staff for dinner indicated initially that they were fully booked but then managed to get us in and served in a timely manner.
The location
Poor communication from some reception staff, spa facilities smaller than expected and the sky bar was closed. Breakfast items appeared not fresh. Definitely not worth the cost.
The reception area is great and most of the staff are really good as well. I have stayed here twice recently for work. The rooms are good value, clean and presentable, with fairly decent A/C.
What lets this hotel down is the restaurant, I stayed when the ‘sky bar?’ was still open and it was good, quick and easy - Since the sky bar has closed the offerings have been below average and forced into the one restaurant. The last couple of occasions the food has been poor, dinner and breakfast. In fact I sent my steak back on the last visit.
The hotel is in a good central location and has a secure car park.
I’m staying here again on the 28th May so let’s see…
Location
Room was spacious & very clean. Full English Breakfast was good, there were also other foods. Location was perfect. Would be going back again.
