Cons:

We were surprised to find it cost an extra £50 to bring our small puppy for our one night stay - this is quite literally the most expensive hotel if you have a dog.

I would recommend you book the Nici instead if you have a dog (rooms are slightly more expensive, but cheaper overall, and direct access to the beach).

Won’t be back
Pros:

The room was nice and location.

Cons:

The cost does not reflect the hotel. It’s very over priced for what it is. Room service charge is £5 to bring it to your room, the pizza oven was broken. There was hair in the sink. The L8 bar has closed down leaving a boring bar downstairs with limited menu choice. Very poor.

Pros:

The hotel was in the perfect location for our weekend away. Close to the beach and the BIC. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

We happened to still be in the room when the cleaners came and then went out for the day. The cleaners didn't attempt to come back and replenish the tea, milk etc. But other than that we had a lovely time.

Pros:

I like the fact the beach is so close.

Cons:

I paid in full before I arrived, yet still had to pay £50.00 holding fee. The sealant around the shower was/is mouldy (I work in property), the drainage hole to the shower is dirty and needs a good scrub, the tiles in the bathroom need re-grouting as they have mould growing, the curtains have stains on them, and I had to keep them closed, due to the big ugly dirty building I had for a view, the carpet has a big pink stain and there are no complimentary slippers, so had to keep socks on. One Towel in the room, I get the 1 guest 1 towel, but what if something happenes to the first one? Oh! Do the headache of go to reception etc etc....... There are no USB ports in the room, the pillows on the bed smell sweaty, room got cold as they turn the heating off through the night, and I caught a chill, and bed is old as makes noise. As staff walked around, no smiles or welcoming words, just stares. For the Hilton Hotel at £140.00 for the night, Very Poor.

A nice stay. A few improvements needed.
Pros:

Excellent location. The reception staff were friendly. Good quality ingredients for the cooked breakfast.

Cons:

The bed was two double beds pushed together. One side of the bed had a dip in it. The toilet flush would sometimes not work and take a long time to turn off. The restaurant area appears dated, chairs etc very worn.

Amazing Spa Weekend Stay
Pros:

We had an amazing stay in an amazing suite with beautiful sea views. We stayed for Valentines 4 nights. We had booked as the hotel had the spa and tom was amazing and helped us book treatments and looked after us so well. We think the spa is the best part and loved swimming and relaxing. The treatments are really good and the wave bed is amazing. The hotel is old but the rooms are comfy and still good. The staff try to help and look after you and made sure we had a romantic welcome with proseco and swans and petals. It's a shame they don't have luggage service but least we know for next time. The room was amazing and we loved it we booked again for Xmas. The dinner was good too and not bad value. The staff tried being busy and not many on. We also had afternoon tea which was a highlight. Food was amazing and the cappuccino was really good. Would probably stop in for one next time. The staff put flowers in the room as soon as they arrived. The breakfast was really good with lots of pastries and huge chocolate croissants and plain ones. Lots of fruit and other bits cereals juices tea coffee. The omelette were really good. We did order eggs benedict which wasn't very warm but was very nice. The hot buffet was good but sometimes wasn't as hot as it could be due to the heat lamps. If they replaced them it would make it perfect. We can't wait to go back and have already booked treatments.

I booked this hotel after my booking fell through else where. The location is nice and central, the rooms are nice but the styling feels a bit cheap.
