Absolutely beautiful hotel the only thing I would say needs improvment is to put up sound dampening stuff because you can hear everyone and would have liked the pool to be heated a little but the hotel is beautiful the staff was excellent the rooms are beautiful

This is a beautiful property, safe and quiet. Keep in mind that services are very limited, not even a soda machine. Room 103 is behind the pool via and uneven unlit walkway to get to the stairs, and the "deluxe" room could really use a workspace. I've stayed here before, things were different this time. No answer when calling the front desk, had to go find the staff more than once. Did it change hands? P.S. Go to MOOSE for breakfast, twice the meal for the same price.

i didnt stay - the welcome was very unfriendly and i was told i had to walk and go by bus to get provisions. the hotel was dreadful

For being in the city and near the airport it was in a quiet part of town. The front desk receptionist was waiting for us because of our late arrival and was so friendly and helpful even in the late hour. He had us park in the gated parking lot in front of the hotel. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. My friend said “that was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, in months!”
Excellent place to stay as we were catching an early fight out. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and breakfast and didn’t have such a tight turn. Sweet staff!

Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night around a flight to San Jose but Alameda Cariari was amazing! The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. The view of the golf course from our room was second to none! Staff went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the area felt very safe. I would absolutely recommend, and will definitely return!

There’s a huge staircase to get to the rooms so if you have luggage be prepared. The room had a weird smell but for the price it was decent

The courtyard and pool area are a serene oasis in this busy area. Be prepared for a flight of stairs to reach your impeccably clean and comfortable guest room. Pura vida!
