Absolutely beautiful hotel the only thing I would say needs improvment is to put up sound dampening stuff because you can hear everyone and would have liked the pool to be heated a little but the hotel is beautiful the staff was excellent the rooms are beautiful
This is a beautiful property, safe and quiet. Keep in mind that services are very limited, not even a soda machine. Room 103 is behind the pool via and uneven unlit walkway to get to the stairs, and the "deluxe" room could really use a workspace. I've stayed here before, things were different this time. No answer when calling the front desk, had to go find the staff more than once. Did it change hands? P.S. Go to MOOSE for breakfast, twice the meal for the same price.

Hotel Alameda Cariari was just what our family and friends needed for a wedding week. The manager and staff were very accommodating and took care of us like we were staying with family friends. Mr. Marino the manager was most helpful. Lovely

Hi we stayed here for a night, the place is clean, and secure the staff are nice the pool is great with a slide, the rooms are large and catered for four adults with en suite bathroom, a safe. Restaurants are about a ten minute walk away.
Well worth a visit.
For being in the city and near the airport it was in a quiet part of town. The front desk receptionist was waiting for us because of our late arrival and was so friendly and helpful even in the late hour. He had us park in the gated parking lot in front of the hotel. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. My friend said “that was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, in months!”
Excellent place to stay as we were catching an early fight out. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and breakfast and didn’t have such a tight turn. Sweet staff!
Beautiful safe close walk to food

Very clean large room with comfortable bed, refrigerator. coffee maker and micro. More of a B/B than a hotel ( you do pay a very reasonable price for breakfast). Breakfast was very tasty and consisted of fruit, egg, pancakes and juice. Pool area very clean and sunny. Rooms were very quiet. The reason for 4 star being we had stayed more than a few nights and I felt it lacked in necessities, such as a luggage rack or bureau ( there was a place to hang cloths but nowhere to place suitcase or items in suitcase} , bottled water (would have been willing to pay for), iron and hairdryer.
Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night around a flight to San Jose but Alameda Cariari was amazing! The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. The view of the golf course from our room was second to none! Staff went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the area felt very safe. I would absolutely recommend, and will definitely return!
