A nice property with excellent surroundings, close to shops and bars. The breakfast is excellent, offering great value for money.
Though the property itself is great, my overall experience was negatively influenced by the front desk service. On the third day of my stay, I noticed my room had not been cleaned as requested. When I went to reception to kindly ask about it, I was told the cleaning time had passed. I explained that I had explicitly requested a cleaning that morning. Instead of a proper response, the receptionist accused me of not leaving my key at the desk when going out, claiming they thought I was still inside. When I suggested they could have simply knocked, she doubled down, stating that leaving the key is a legal requirement so they know who is in the building during a fire. If this is a strict rule, it should have been mentioned at check-in; regardless, it has nothing to do with housekeeping missing my room.
I wouldn't have minded a simple mistake—I even brought my own rubbish downstairs myself—but the receptionist's attitude was unwelcoming and entirely shift-blamed me. To make matters worse, as I was walking out to go to the supermarket, she demanded, 'You are leaving the hotel now, your key?' I felt singled out and wondered if she treats all guests this poorly or just me. When I mentioned this to another staff member, she made a joke saying, 'They may just not like you,' before adding that they would make sure the room was cleaned today. I don’t think it is appropriate to make such jokes; it is neither professional nor funny.
I want to make it clear that the following day, the housekeeper did a thorough clean of my room. However, I felt quite uncomfortable with the way the receptionist hostility toward me. A rather poor experience.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The location was great- an easy walk into Newcastle centre and a short walk to Jesmond shops, bars and restaurants. The breakfast was waitress served and a vegetarian breakfast was available. The room was clean with all the things you need - even a USB port. The value for money was amazing.
Nothing major at all. The shower tray was a little rusty.
The staff were lovely and I felt very welcome. They were very safe and secure and accommodating for all my needs.

Very modern bathroom and spacious room with great TV for a single. Very good value and tasty breakfast well served by friendly staff. Good bus service to / from Newcastle just outside the hotel .
I thought the bar lounge area might have been bigger and hoped there was a lift. However, this did not spoil my stay as there was a good range of bars in walking distance. Taxis to town were approx £8.

Nothing. Well it was a bit noisy at night but this is near a big student area so it can happen. Not the Hotels fault of course.
A lovely hotel in a good area - clean and comfotable with an excellent shower just a short walk from the Jesmond metro station. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. I reaaly enjoyed my full English breakfast with toast fruit juice and pot of tea but the the bowl of porridge option was perfection; also with toast and fruit juice and tea or coffee. The baggage storage facility was reaaly handy. I e.mailed ahead and dropped my luggage off early. This effectively gave me an extra day to use the all zone metro ticket to explore the Whitley Bay to Tynemouth coastal walk and see the Collingwood Monument. In fact Sharron said my room was ready and I was allowed to take it early - many thanks.

Nobody's fault but Newcastle is a student hub and there were late night revellers shouting down the road after the night out. Our room was on the front right by the road so I did wake up
Clean throughout and all the staff were polite and professional… breakfast was great and served up well. I would go again.

Hotel is tired and need of upgrading and in my opinion definitely not value for money. My room smelt of smoke.

Piccolo hotel a 10 min a piedi dalla fermata Jesmond che permette di recarsi in centro o direttamente all'aeroporto. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, la stanza molto pulita, i letti comodi, la colazione full english buona, reception h24.
Forse il lavandino un po' piccolo, parquet davvero molto scricchiolante e camere poco insonorizzate. Avrei gradito una confezione di bagnoschiuma insieme alla saponetta e allo shampoo.
