立地が良く、便利でした。

朝飯がとてもおいしかった。
なによりヨーグルトとチーズが豪華。日本では考えられない。このヨーグルトとチーズは忘れられない味。幸せです。
甘ーいケーキもうまかったです。朝から1人では食べきれない大きさです。

部屋はコンパクト。エレベータはなく階段のみです。荷物は運んでもらえます。景色も良く、窓の外では川が見えます。
空港からは少し行きづらいかもしれません。
途中まで空港バスを使ってタクシーを使うといいと思います。

Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at the Troya Hotel in Balat, and strongly recommend it. The hotel is an old building, more than 100 years old, and the bedroom is a little gem. We had never seen such old electric switches, and the art deco chandelier was a gem!
The staircase is a bit steep and narrow if you have heavy luggage to carry to the top floors but the staff is helpful.
The graffiti decoration in the restaurant is a bit odd in the context of the hotel :)
Access is very convenient, on the Golden Horn and close to a tram stop.

PRÓS: a região é muito boa, perto de estação de tram e de ferryboat;

CONTRAS: não possui elevador e a escada é tipo caracol. Ficamos no terceiro andar e tivemos que subir com 4 malas os diversos lances de escada. Portanto, caso tenha alguma dificuldade de locomoção, fique atento; o banheiro estava com um cheiro de esgoto insuportável (que, pelo jeito, é de todo o estabelecimento, pois o banheiro do restaurante tinha o mesmo cheiro), que chegava a ser sentido no quarto todo; o ar condicionado é extremamente fraco, não dando a menor vazão; os travesseiros são ruins; o café da manhã é pouco variado e as coisas não são tão boas como os demais cafés que tomamos na Turquia; a parte do chuveiro é muito escura e o chuveiro em si é de difícil regulagem.

Lovely welcome, arrived too late for food but they gave us a complementary side plate of fruit. Breakfast.. nothing hot but fresh bread and (string????) cheese/jam etc.

I restauranten spiser par, fødselsdags selskab og en gruppe præster i et hyggeligt fællesskab med plads til alle.

Great value for money. It's a popular dining spot so it does get noisy but I loved the old room, cleanliness of the place, excellent friendly staff.

The staff at the Troya Hotel Balat were kind and welcoming. I had a third floor sea view room with a great view. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Lovely little neighborhood walking distance to shops, dining, the colored balat homes, a park along the water and Fatih Mosque.

The hotel was great, but just small bathrooms and no lift. Service was good and staff was helpful, but if you have big suitcases then its a big struggle to go to 3 rd floor on stairs. Breakfast was super tasty and good variety. Views of the bosphorus are great from 3rd floor rooms.

What a beautiful hotel. It's old and feels like stepping back into time. And waking up to the view of the water every day was wonderful. It was so convenient to walk to the restaurants and shopping of Balat and I loved that it was across the street from a tram stop! It made it sooooo convenient with my daily trips to the other side of the straight. The staff spoke great English and buffet turkish breakfast was served every morning til 10:00. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a good choice of hotel in the Balat, where I was able to explore the neighborhood. The manager was able to get me a room with a balcony and a view of the Bosphorus, which was what I requested even when it wasn’t available in the app. The Greek restaurant downstairs was excellent, it was always busy for lunch and dinner. The free breakfast was sufficient.

Old style feel in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Istanbul. What else can you ask for - the breakfast is amazing and the manager Cemilah is super accommodating. The tavern-style seafood restaurant on the bottom is packed every night
