L’accueil , l’endroit le personnel vraiment super
Rien
It is a really beautiful and quiet place in Camargue, the presence of the horses makes it very special. Nice polite staff overall. The person in charge of the breakfast really stands out. She was lovely and genuinely nice, welcoming and caring, thank you!
Nice little swimming pool open 24h, which is a real plus with the hot weather. Very nice for our furry family, very pet friendly indeed.
However, it's slightly overrated as it is very pricey for what it is: a hotel with a nice garden, basically.
Check in at 5 o'clock and check out at 10 o'clock, so if you spend one night, it's kind of in and out! And if you want to enjoy the pool a little longer, it's not a warm yes, it's ok til 11 but you feel a bit like a disturbance and that it would be nicer if you could just leave even though there's noone in sight.
No food or picnics or drinks allowed on site, fair enough, but there aren't any real affordable or varied restaurants at walking distance and the lunch boxes they offer remain pricey and really don't leave much choice, doesn't seem very seasonal either when the only veg you get is leak in the middle of August... Another thing you should know is to order these the day before 4.
Which I did, I ordered the day before as you should do, it was 1h42pm to make sure I was on time well before the 4 o'clock deadline, at 1h46, so 4 minutes later, I realized I made one wrong order and asked to change it but already too late! I was bluntly told that my order had already been placed and no change could be made with the 'traiteur'...so be careful, maje sure you place your order right as there's no flexibility whatsoever on that side!
As for breakfast, it is nice, yes, but may I say 20 euros is a bit much for what you get, that's my opinion.
Then you can buy stuff to nip on and drinks at the 'accueil', however, it closes at 8 and is also very expensive....So in a nutshell yes the place really is lovely and well maintained but it is unfortunately overpriced, whether be for the room or the extras, especially for the extras, and that's a shame.
To give you a rough idea, 200 euros for the double room (from 5pm to 10 am) and another 140 euros for 2 lunch boxes, ice cream, a glass of wine, and breakfast. And I didn't use the spa, which is also extra...
