Pros:

The service and food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our breakfasts were superb, very fresh and hot. The room was comfortable and refreshed each day.

Cons:

Unfortunately the guests were very old and it felt a little like a care home. This is not a negative comment on the hotel, but reflects the resort in general.

Excellent seafront hotel. One of the best in Sidmouth
Pros:

Super seafront hotel. We had a room upgrade which was so lovely as it was our wedding anniversary. Love that you are guaranteed a parking space and the use of their sister hotel which is actually next door.

Cons:

There are negatives as far as we are concerned.

Beautiful hotel in fabulous location
Pros:

Fabulous traditional high end seaside hotel. Brilliant location with sea views and pretty gardens. Use of outdoor pool a bonus. Adult only policy enhanced the experience . All the staff were very professional and helpful.

Staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and knew their jobs well. The room was well maintained/recently redone. A good bathroom with walk in shower, large sink, bathroom cabinet and a shower with all the controls in all the right places. Fan, safe, loads of plug sockets. The bar was good too. The young woman behind the bar was thoughtful and efficient.

Booked a deluxe room which wasn’t deluxe it was a single with a sea view chocolates and fruit and I had to pay for dinner and breakfast as extra. Next time I’ll book a single room and get dinner and Breakfast included.

Not the first time we've stayed and it won't be the last. A very relaxing stay.
Pros:

Location, Atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff. Good food and we appreciated the upgrade to a room with a sea view.

Cons:

The room was at times a bit too warm especially at night but a fan was available for use.

I love Sidmouth, the hotel is in a great spot, the cost

The location and its staff.

Cons:

It was dated, the room was a little shabby the window trim was broken hanging in the room the en-suite fan was really noisy and you couldn’t turn the light on without it.

A nice hotel in beautiful Sidmouth.
Pros:

Anthony helped with our luggage and was a mine of historical information about Sidmouth. Thank you. We liked the free parking for a change. We enjoyed the bright room overlooking the Sidmouth Cricket Club. My husband enjoyed his breakfast on the first morning. The reception staff were professional and eager to please.

Cons:

Only received one night’s amenities kits and they were hidden behind a mirrored cupboard.
