Hotel Franco

No water to drink, outdated and very basic. Not close to center or train.

The cleaning of this hotel is amazing. Safe parking walkable from downtown area. A good discount hotel

If you’re only staying one or two nights in El Fuerte, Hotel Franco it’s a good option. The place is not glamorous at all but it’s clean which is the most important, including the linen and towels. It’s a 5 minute walk to the plaza and 10 minute walk to El Fuerte Museum. There’s also plenty of parking within the property. At the time I stayed the WiFi worked only on the rooms closed to the office which are numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Muy buena ubicación, es un hotel sencillo pero cubre con todos los servicios además de muy limpio y buena atención por parte del personal

solo pediría poner una percha silla o porta maletas más. por lo demas muy bien limpio y comodo

l'hôtel est bien situé, propre, le personnel est sympa, juste dommage qu'il y a une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre.

Cuando uno llega en tren espress a El fuerte llega de noche, seria excelente que tengan la cortesía o el servicio de mandar un taxi ya que a esa hr no hay quien vaya por uno, el hotel esta prácticamente cerca del centro y aceptan tarjeta.

Tuvimos una mala experiencia dado que nos robaron artículos personales, pedimos que se nos repusieran los artículos pero se negaron a hacerlo argumentando que no ingresaban a la habitación

Very welcoming, we arrived at 8:30am from the El Chepe train and they kindly let us use our room immediately. Good air con and WiFi, great bathroom and comfortable beds.

Nothing fancy but a quiet, clean room. This hotel has no frills (no toiletries and only the essentials in the room). Staff was attentive but Wi-Fi did not work. The rate at the hotel for the same room was less than what I paid with Hotels.com.

Franco is an economy Hotel. As such, it’s one of the best I’ve stayed at. It’s close walking to all the sites. Spotless. The beds and pillows in our room were great. Our room had new AC and really good WIFI; but some of the rooms do not.

Hotel Franco is right in the center of El Fuerte offering a variety of spacious, clean rooms at great prices.

Our room had new air ac and a great ceiling fan so we were very comfortable. Especially as we planned a rest day here, just kicking back and surfing the Net.

Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The central location makes it easy to go sightseeing or to any of the great restaurants.

Our host, Cecilia, is very gracious and accommodating.

It was a pleasure to stay here.

Three blocks from where Los Mochis collectivo dropped me off. The sidewalks in Fuerte are not continuous so wheeled luggage is awkward to bring along. the staff were friendly, helpful; had a taxi waiting for the exact time we had requested it for the morning trip to the train. The shower was great; very spacious, instant hot water evening and morning with very good pressure.

Bien. El hotel es de los primeros en entrar a El Fuerte, el servicio y atención muy bien. Sin embargo se supone que no cobra penalización y como llegó tarde El Chepe a El Fuerte, nos iban a cobrar pensaron en que no llegariamos...Ya después se arregló pero todo pero está mal que digan que no cobrarán y a la mera hora sí lo hagan.

We ended our train trip through Copper Canyon at El Fuerte and needed a hotel for one night only, arriving late and leaving early. This hotel was adequate for those purposes. As we entered the hotel the lobby was very hot and made us a little uncomfortable about staying there, but each room had a ceiling fan and AC, so we were quite comfortable sleeping. Our bathroom had no electrical outlet.
Overall, worth the stay for one night.
