Not as good as my other stays at Goodwood.
Cons:

I have stayed a few times at this hôtel and this time was disappointing. One of the lavatories appeared to not be as clean as expected and the bed was uncomfortable and badly sprung and not easy to get any rest as well as a smokey smell if the carpet or or from outside?

- alles wirkt sehr alt und daher ungepflegt
- die Bäder und Duschen sollten dringend erneuert werden
- es gab keine richtigen Bettdecken
- auch die Zimmer haben auf Grund der Ausstattung lieblos gewirkt

Very disappointing experience. The staff were extremely unfriendly throughout my stay. I was first given a partially furnished room, then an unclean room that had clearly already been used. Eventually, I was moved to a double room, which was fine.

However, the next day I was blamed for being in a double room, even though I had originally booked a single and was simply given what was available. To make matters worse, staff refused to open the door for me and accused me of damaging it, when I was only trying to collect my luggage as previously agreed.

Overall, a very rude and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Staff initially were rude, said my room had been cancelled yet my name was on their booking list
Pros:

I liked that it had no windows so was absolutely dark.

Cons:

The room had not been cleaned properly, there was a knife and fork and contact lens capsules on top of the radiator upon entering the room. 1 Bedside light didn't work.

Very friendly

Cons:

The bed had springs poking out.
The gap between the door and the frame was ridiculous, had to cover the door with a blanket. The bathroom was so small you could sit on the wc, have a shower and use the sink all at the same time.
The dimmer made the lights flicker instead of dim, had to hold the kettle down to get it to work.

Cozy room, good location
Pros:

cozy, had an en suite, comfy bed, great location to Euston, very friendly staff.

Cons:

no duvet, it was a blanket, which was weird but comfy. TV was very dusty

My bathroom was clean and room was not too cold.

Cons:

No duvet on bed just one fleece blanket. No hairdryer in room. GDP around door and under door people could look in. Bed gad no mattress protector or pillow. Not that comfortable
