Close to church and Hoan Kiem lake. Lots of food and shops around. Room was good. I don’t like the bathroom which has the toilet and shower in one. I know this is common just don’t like. I love the old quarter. Tom was very helpful and and another young pretty lady very helpful. One guy couldn’t speak English.

Church Legend Hotel is a charming little gem in a quiet street beside the Cathedral in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Very short walk to the famous Lake and also close to Dong Xuan markets. We had a good sized room on 5th floor that was very light and airy and faced the back of the cathedral. Plenty of space and king sized bed. Bathroom very narrow but functions well. Daily breakfast buffet was fresh and chef would make omelettes etc as required.
Staff fantastic. Very friendly and good fun.ww had a birthday while there and found room full of balloons and flowed! Tom the manager very knowledgable on tours and went out of his way to find some great alternatives. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stay was short but good - customer service is extremely friendly they go above and beyond to make sure your happy . We left a ring in the room here and contacted them after check out - and they saved it for us until we come back to the city after the weekend !

Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Les chambres sont confortables. Bien situé.

깨끗하고 정리도 잘된 호텔입니다. 식사도 맛있고 가격대비 훌륭합니다. 다만... 하루 이틀은 괜찮지만 몇일 묵기에는 지루할듯... 호안끼엠 호수근처이고 성요섭대성당 바로앞이라 다니기도 편라합니다.

성요셉성당 바로 옆에 있어 호안끼엡 호수, Pho10, 분짜닥킴 등 도보로 이동하기 아주 편했음.
2인이 1박 25,000원으로 조식포함 가격.
호텔옆 에그커피 드셔보시길..
다만....시도때도없이 쳐대는 성당 종 때문에 힘들었음..

部屋もスタッフも心地よいホテルです。ただ到着した日は深夜で空きが無くなったのかリペアでシャワーが使えないからと別のかなりコンディションの落ちるホテルに移らされた(T_T)

Accueil chaleureux, nous ont offert un thé, café, melon, chambre très confortable. Bon déjeuner, nous ont réservé à bon prix, (meilleur que l'agence du coin de rue), billets de train. Bons restos à proximité. À deux pas de la cathédrale de Ha Noi, près du musée de la femme à voir, tres interessant et description française. Promenade le soir autour du lac avec les bons restaurants et l'anmation un +.

We arrived not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised!! Such a lovely welcome every time we came back to the hotel. We were always offered a cup of hot tea. We didn't experience such friendly warmth at the bigger hotels we stayed in. The room was an adequate size and we had a good sleep. The street gets really quiet at night sonwe had no noise problems. We had a stunning view of the chapel and the breakfast was simple but filled us up for the day.

Tom booked us amazing two trips to Halong Bay and Sapa. When speaking with other people it seems we got the best price than other people travelling.

Tom and the team offered us free breakfast and a room to shower in when we were in between trips and hadn't even booked a room!! They kept luggage and couldn't have been nicer when we arrived two hour ago early from Sapa at 3am and our taxi didn't pick us up until 7am. The hotel was fully booked but they let us sleep on the sofa.

This might not be a five star, fancy pants hotel but you'll be treated like a superstar! We have stayed in a mix of hotels and I can honestly say the staff made me feel in safe hands and were genuinely helpful. Thank you for being so kind and making this part of our trip so wonderful!!

We never actually got to stay at the hotel, as they had overbooked and tried to lie to us about it by telling us we got an upgrade... to another hotel, further away from our location of choice, and a room with a window to a brick wall! They'd told us we could go see the new room, and if we didn't like it, come back, but when we did try to go back, they told us we had forfeited the room by leaving, and they had already given it away in the span of 5min it took us to go and inspect the other hotel. They then went on to tell us that their hotel was no good, and the new hotel was much better, and we shouldn't want to stay at their hotel. The continued saying that what we had booked was a room with no window, despite the description on Hotels.com saying it was a courtyard room, so we should be glad we had an actual window in the new hotel. For 10-15min the guys from CL hotel tried to convince us that it was our fault we did not have a room at CL anymore, and what they "upgraded" us to was much better. The refused to admit they had overbooked their hotel, and were lying to us from the start, all the whole wasting our time!
Unacceptable service for overbooking, then lying about it and the fact they had given us an "upgrade", ignoring the fact we were tired and needed to just check into our room and rest, trying to put the blame on us, and effectively ruining our last day in Vietnam, and coincidentally New Year's.

First of all the room is not 20sqm as advertised, more like 15sqm. The room also doesn't look as nice as the photos. The hotel is also a travel agency so whenever we sit in the lobby, the receptionist will come by to sell us tours and taxi. We did not like that at all and learned to avoid sitting at the lobby onwards.

For two days in a row, they didn't give us fresh towels. The free breakfast was supposed to be cooked-to-order, but there was only one guy in the kitchen who does all the cooking, cleaning and dishes, so he refused to make us the cooked-to-order breakfast.

However the free wifi was fast and the location was good (walkable to sights)

Firstly, I're very disappointed about this hotel's room arrangement. I've already booked and paid for the room 6 months ago. So they have to know how to arrange the room for us on the date we came. But after a long trip from Sapa to Hanoi, when we came to the hotel, the receptionist said to us that it has out of empty room, so they asked us to move to the near hotel and they will upgrade the room from classic level to deluxe level for us. We really did not like it but we have no more choice. BTW we hoped that the room being upgraded would be considered as good point. But in fact, we totally were disappointed for the near hotel. It has no elevator so we had to climbed up from ground floor to 5th floor. It're so crazy! Then we're very angry with the room which has bad bathroom (the bathroom always is important to us). Anyway, we could came back to the hotel with the room on 7th floor. The room is very clean and has good facilities.
But we hope the problem shall never happen again. Esp. when I booked some hotel on hotels.com, I believe that hotels.com will not give us these stupid choices. The first time I met this issue and even my boyfriend claimed on hotels.com. I still uses your service for coming times but you should consider these hotels.

Great location upgraded to Deluxe room which was great

I liked the hotel with the exception of the bathroom, which had the shower open plan in the toilet and sink. Far from ideal.
