Super central, very clean

Fabulous hotel - very comfortable beds and pillows, super clean and well appointed throughout. Perfect location for exploring the city by foot with less mobile mother. The staff were wonderful - incredibly friendly and helpful. Bar on site, we didn't visit, but it looked very nice and the restaurant attached offered simple but delicious buffet for early morning breakfast. We would 100% recommend and return if we find ourselves in Lisbon again!

The check in was flawless and staff were so professional. We did arrive early however our room was ready. The room was spacious for what we needed it for and the bathroom was amazing. The housekeepers were, by far, the BEST we have ever had at any establishment. Kudos to them.... those ladies work so hard!
We did opt for the breakfast daily and it was less than desirable. They need to change it up or offer different options, possibly omlets, french toast, etc. The buffet was a waste of money for us, as we did not utilize daily due to lack of choices!
The hotel is located in the perfect spot for the Baixa neighborhood. You can literally walk everywhere or hop on the metro close by! Lots of shopping choices, cafes, restaurants.
My only complaint is that the mattress needed replaced! The springs are sticking through and honestly, the bed was very uncomfortable. Pillow choices are great and so was bedding. It was just the mattress!

Location is great, arrived busy Friday night. The area is full of night life.
They have a very quiet restaurant next door, where we had our dinner.
Heating was not working, they gave us slippers and a portable electric heater. A noisy one, but did the job.
Thank you for a complimentary bottle of red wine, top floor room as requested and 20% discount for dinner at your next door restaurant.
Overall, a clean nicely located hotel. Lovely helpful staff, a good breakfast served next door, nice bar where you can enjoy a glass of Mumms Champagne for €9.

An excellent hotel to base yourselves in order to experience the city of Lisbon. Despite the almost constant rain , we were able to explore the area on foot, both origonal trams (28) and the new trams . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff within the hotel were extremely helpful and very pleasant. the accommodation was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was very enjoyable , offering a great range of hot and cold food. Thank you. The transport system is excellent and very reasonable in price. Spoilt for choice with places to eat, again great quality and good value . The mercado de Ribiera and De Campo are excellent venues as is the Brasiliera cafe, Nicole and the restaurants and tapas places offering Fado evenings- particulary 'Chico'.

This is the perfect hotel for a city break in Lisbon—right in the heart of the city and ideally located for exploring all the main attractions. The staff are absolutely wonderful and always happy to help, making this one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here, and after a long day of exploring the city, I returned to a traditional Portuguese cake kindly arranged by the front office team. It was such a thoughtful touch and really shows how they go above and beyond to make guests feel special.

I booked a VERY last minute trip to Lisbon and umm’ed and ahh’ed between this and another hotel. For context the other hotel was 3 stars, but was a little more expensive and had better reviews.
I was concerned initially about the breakfast from what I’d read but personally I couldn’t fault it. Perhaps it helped that I visited in January when Lisbon isn’t as bus as most other months. There was enough selection, cold meats and cheeses, local pastries, some hot food, plenty of breads, spreads and then some cereals. You can have a hot drink made for you and brought to your table and you can order more if you’d like. I do usually see more juices but they only had water and orange juice.
The room was small but it needn’t be any bigger when it’s just somewhere to sleep. They have hard mattresses so I guess this would depend on your preference. Plenty of pillows!
Shower pressure and temperature is great! No trickling shower here. The bathroom is a good size too and enough space around the sink for toiletries.
There was a small balcony overlooking the other apartments to the back if you’d like some fresh air but I only used the room to get ready and sleep then stayed out all day.
No concerns with security. There’s an in room safe for all your valuables.
There’s also an in room fridge with some stock in it if you want to purchase some water or Coca Cola, etc. There is a big bottle of water in the room on arrival so I used the fridge to cool this when I arrived. They also offer you a traditional custard tart and a port at reception which is a lovely touch. The receptionist was also very knowledgable and spoke excellent English. He gave tips on where to go which I took on board and couldn’t fault. They also provide a map and he talked me through all the different areas which was so helpful!
Overall a lovely stay. The ONLY fault I could find was the sheet was too big for the duvet!

Clean, safe and quiet. Private bathroom with excellent shower. Located in the center of the old town, its an easy ten minute walk to lots of locations.
