Great decor, but lacking some basics.

I liked the breakfast buffet. It had a good variety of foods.

Cons:

We have stayed here twice and each time the rooms were cold and the thermostat didn't work. The staff bought up a space heater to warm up the room. We had to move it around so the bathroom was warm enough to shower in. There were no lights that weren't spot lights in the room. Every light was a 75 watt bulb. that couldn't be dimmed

This was such an inconvenience as each time we've stayed it's been for hospitalization or treatment . It would be very dangerous if I were to get sick . This will be the last time we're staying at the Inn at Great Neck.

Cons:

That I had to pay for parking. It added another $60.00 to my bill.
Hotel costs are high enough. I should have to pay for parking as well

Pros:

Great location! Close to the town of great neck and my son's apt.

Cons:

The thermostat in our room (316) was not working- it was too hot so we just turned it off.

Too cold for comfort
Pros:

Friendly staff. Great restaurant and bar on location.

Cons:

There were serious HVAC issues. The room was 60 degrees with a space heater trying and failing to warm up the room.
