Days Hotel by Wyndham Jalandhar Jyoti Chowk

We booked two rooms at this hotel for 10 days in late November/early December 2024. Unfortunately, our experience was not a positive one.

For starters, many things did not work. For example, the air conditioning, the TV remote control, the kettle. Other issues that were problematic for us included the dirty bed sheets (stained with blood, curry, hair and other matters), filthy wardrobes which soiled our clothes, along with a complimentary leaky bathroom sink.

For some reason, Housekeeping never left towels and/or toilet paper in our rooms requiring us to call Room Service almost daily. Often Room Service would turn up with a bottle of water rather that the towels requested.

Each day we had to validate your key card at Reception to be able to access our rooms. When asked why this was needed and bearing in mind we paid for our hotel on checking in, Reception advised it was “just in case you checked out without telling us”. Given our experience, I suspect this happens a lot at this hotel.

Although not the Hotel’s fault, at night we often found it difficult to sleep owing to noisy residents staying in other rooms or residents often shouting to each other down the corridors in the middle of the night.

Cleanliness was not a concern for this hotel. Under the bed was an Aladdin’s treasure trove of dust, hair and used tissues. Yuk! The hotel corridors were festooned daily with dirty plates and utensils along with surplus food which were regularly left in situ overnight and often not cleared until the following afternoon. We were genuinely surprised not to have seen any vermin.

The breakfast experience was a daily chore. With some exceptions staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, with miserable faces and could not be bothered attitude. It was necessary to hustle for breakfast cereal, milk, teas and coffees. Whilst the Hotel states eggs and other items were made to order, this was hit and miss. On occasions, I was told they could not provide simple things like Paratha’s. The toaster was shambolic as you needed to pass your bread through on no less than 10 cycles before the bread began to turn brown.

Checking out was a complete shambles and slow with wrong invoices for different rooms.

On the plus side, the hotel is in an excellent central location in Jalandhar close to Jyothi Chowk/Ranak Bazaar. The revolving restaurant on the upper floor provided a good selection of quality food at relatively reasonable prices. The reception staff and manager were good and helpful.

Staying at this hotel was a stressful experience for us and not one we had expected given the Day Inn brand, the positive reviews on-line as well as my family members’ positive experience at this hotel pre-Covid. Unlikely to stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Days Hotel. Staff are super helpful. A variety of food from the buffet style breakfast. Staff will make lovely masala chai and bring it to your table.
A special thank you to Anand and Love Preet. These two were so kind and helpful and could not do enough for me and my family. They served with a smile and made sure we were okay.
The hotel has a beautiful roof top revolving restaurant where prices are similar to room service .

I stayed in this hotel. I got checked in and the hotel room had a smell to it. Their party music goes on till 2:00am. I tried to talk to the head manager about this and he didn't time to talk to me. This was a average hotel to stay in but the receptions and the music doesn't allow anyone to sleep.

I have stayed with my family it's wonderful stay nice hotel nice ambience near by the shopping market. Breakfast buffet is awesome also revolving restaurant is very good excellent food and service. Will definitely come again.

First of all the staff is fabulous and mangers are so polite. Rooms are clean and tide I can recommend u to visit here and the food I ordered in room was so tasty. And your man mr harshit ji is so friendly and helpful great person🙏

First of all rooms are really neat an clean, staff is very polite specially Mr harshit he is really good.. his dealing manners were best..best of all value for money properly...really in love with this place..

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was so helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Definitely recommend and stay here again. Internet was superb , in these days internet is the part of life.

It was a great experience staying in Days Hotel Jalandhar, Behaviour of staff is very nice and they are polite talkative and supportive.Hotel rooms are beautiful.

It was a wonderfull experience with days hotel and I recommend to other good food good wifi staff location and they also no about value of money . Staff behaving well mannered . I stayed days hotel every month regarding the my work . There have no problem rooms are neat and clean

I checked in on 3rd March 2023 & checked out on 4th March 2023 with my father.
Staff was terrible & totally unprofessional rooms were stinking & not up to the mark my room was close to the reception & whole day they were playing loud music in the reception because of which I was not able to take rest properly.Location of the hotel was also not so good it was in a very crowded area.My dad is a senior citizen & diabetic patient in the morning he wanted to have his medicines before that he want to have tea & snacks so we went to the hotel Resturant to have breakfast so that he can take his medicine but inspite of repeated reminders staff in the Resturant didn’t provided him tea in-fact when we complained about the staff to the manager he was not even ready to get up from him seat to help us out & after waiting for more then 30min we left the hotel because we have to attend some function for which we were getting late.It was a nightmare to spend 1 night stay in this hotel totally unprofessional & rude staff will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Entire hotel smells bad
Forget the Breakfast spread, my stomach went bad after having the food. Had to eat outside for all the remaining meals including Paid breakfast for second day.

A Strict NO. I am never ever going to stay here again

Room was nice…but it feels like me that it was poorest room of hotel as when i checked it …there was continuous sound of pigeons around my room…then when i feel to order food i saw 3 phones in room but surprisingly only one is working that too is on working table..means if i am in bed i need to approach working table…
No towels were present in washroom..
I have to go outside and then requested for towels
When i asked for water bottle the guy cross questioned me twice and then water given to me…
Washroom’s dustbin was not working…
At last my earphones slipped under bed and the i have to pull it to downwards..when i do that there was un expected garbage under bed… all thought i have not spent complete stay ..i have to leave early due to this …
I would like to request to Wyndham Group that please treat every guest equally…

Visited this property 2 days back, and the experience was great... loved every aspect of the hotel. The front office team was very efficient, the food was tasty, Rooms were clean. The only thing which I recommend looking after is the quality of the linen. Rest everything was great.. special thanks to Deepak and the guy who was on the night shift when I checked in.

Expect a little trouble with air conditioning and no bell boy for luggage. Though they changed and upgraded my room still the room a/c was not upto the mark. Overall in this price very good clean hotel and good food in room dining and buffet.👍

I have booked two rooms for 4 pax. Interior of the rooms was so nice. Beds were comfortable. Linen and towels were cleaned. There were 3 phones in the room (1 at work desk, one beside bed and another one in bathroom). TV had all channels. Mini fridge and tea coffee maker and a safe locker were available in the room. Ac was working fine. Bathroom was so clean and all the essential things like shaving kit, shampoo, body lotion, shower cap, slippers were provided. Breakfast had limited variety and good in taste. I didn`t like tea they were providing. Location was good. Public transport can easily available. As I was on my business tour the hotel made my stay comfortable and hassle free. I will suggest to stay here. Thanks Team Days Hotel.
