Grandi aspettative, grande delusione

Posizione sicuramente eccezionale e ottima pulizia della stanza.

Cons:

Le dimensioni della camera erano piuttosto piccole per 3 adulti e la poltrona letto usata come terzo posto letto era estremamente scomoda: anche stendendo un piumone sul materasso si sentivano le molle della rete nella schiena.
Lo staff era vario, qualcuno più gentile di altri. All'inizio ti propongono un sacco di sconti "riservati" ai clienti dell'albergo che poi si rivelano i medesimi prezzi per tutta la clientela. Tra questi rientra la spa, mediocre, che non è di pertinenza dell'albergo, come avevo creduto leggendo la descrizione su booking, ma è aperta al pubblico e lo sconto del 20% che ti propongono alla reception è lo stesso che viene urlato per la strada a qualunque turista che vi passeggi davanti. In generale non ho apprezzato particolarmente lo staff, spesso troppo ossequioso e non in grado di aiutare quando richiesto: ci è stato sconsigliato, ad esempio, l'ultilizzo di taxi in favore dell'acquisto di un abbonamento costoso per i mezzi pubblici, dicendoci che i taxi non arrivavano in quella zona; notare che eravamo arrivati in taxi dall'aeroporto e abbiamo poi preso taxi per conto nostro esattamente fuori dalla porta dell'albergo per tutti i giorni di permanenza.
Un capitolo speciale merita la colazione. Dalle recensioni lette avevo aspettative enormi. Si è rivelata una totale delusione: omelette immerse in acquetta e fredde, stessi dolci tipici riproposti giorno dopo giorno e probabilmente "rinfrescati" in acqua e zucchero perché tendevano a "galleggiare" anche loro, proposti in alcuni giorni patate fritte probabilmente riciclate dal ristorante della sera prima e succhi di frutta in alcuni giorni talmente diluiti da risultare poco più che acqua. Se si arrivava un po' più tardi era inoltre molto difficile trovare pane e frutta.
In generale non lo consiglierei.

Great accommodation in the heart of the city
Pros:

Great location (in the heart of Fatih/Sultanahmet), excellent value for money hotel, very friendly staff.

We asked the front desk to get us a taxi. We ended up being overcharged by 5
Times the amount. When I complained, the clerk who had called the taxi refused to take responsibility.

Pros:

The location was very close to all main attractions and the staff was al way very helpful and kind.

Cons:

Breakfast is really poor I would definitely give it more variety and more fresh products.

The bathroom was very tiny and not very easy to move around. Shower was good tho!

The mini bar is crazy expensive like 11 euros for 1 beer and a small pack of nuts.

Good, filling breakfasts and excellent service. The staff was wonderful. They responded to requests very quickly.

Cons:

The curtains on the windows were torn, and the bedspread was worn out. The pillows were very uncomfortable, as if you were sleeping on lumps. The round bed is also not very comfortable, and I think it may be unacceptable for tall people. The hotel should also replace the towels, as they are worn out and no longer white. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; you can hear your neighbours and the music in the breakfast area.

Great place to stay if visiting Istanbul.
Pros:

It’s in a great location, only a 2 minute walk from visitor attractions a tram stop and the hop on hop off bus. The hotel has a spa on the bottom floor which was great and includes a 20% discount for guests. The food was also lovely and you also get a 10% discount if you use the restaurant in the evening.
Staff were also very polite and helpful at all times.

Beautiful stay.
Pros:

The location is AMAZING! Walking distance to the major mosques and Galata bridge. Easy access to transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Daily housekeeping. Restaurant on property and close to MANY others within one minute walking.
