Great stay at lovely hotel
Pros:

An excellent traditional French hotel in Besancon, the staff are very friendly & helpful. breakfast super. Great overnight storage for our bikes. Best location in a quiet pedestrianised area right in the centre.

Heel goede locatie zo middenin het centrum.

Cons:

Het was - op de 3e verdieping - heel warm, nu begin september hielp de ventilator redelijk maar als het warmer is .. bij ontbijt krijg je zonder te kunnen kiezen een croissant en twee stukken stokbrood .. als je geen croissant hoeft en behoefte hebt aan bruin brood of een yoghurt maaltijd gaat dit mis (klein yoghurtje was er wel maar niets voor erin)

La gentillesse des hôtes et la situation en plein centre ville , la possibilité de parking à proximité dans cette zone piétonne , le super petit déjeuner

Accueil chaleureux en plein centre ville
Pros:

Le personnel, quelque soit sa fonction, est très accueillant. Ma salle de bain était très spacieuse. Je ne prends jamais de petit-déjeuner, mais j'ai apprécié de pouvoir boire un café : c'est une cafetière pleine qui m'a été apportée !
Hôtel traditionnel qui change des chaînes toutes formatées.
Emplacement idéal pour tout faire à pieds dans Besançon. Rue tranquille.
Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Cons:

La moquette est vieillotte et mériterait d'être changée. Bruit de ventilation la nuit provenant d'un bâtiment extérieur et indépendant de l'hôtel. C'est ponctuel m'a-t-on assuré. J'ai mis 9 mais le mot "fabuleux" est excessif.

Un hôtel très agréable et bien situé pour visiter le cœur de ville
Pros:

L’accueil chaleureux et la grande gentillesse de tout le personnel, l’emplacement, la propreté impeccable, la qualité des équipements même s’il n’y avait pas de climatisation mais un gros ventilateur

Nice location in centre of Besançon
Pros:

I really liked the "old fashioned" style of the hotel du Nord and it's location in the historical center of Besançon. All museums are in less than twenty minutes walking distance and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. On top of that, the staff was very friendly.
