Very friendly staff, good value but quite isolated
Pros:

We had a very pleasant three day stay and the hotel staff could not have been nicer. We were quite early in the season (beginning of October), so perhaps we should not have been surprised to be the only hotel guests - but we certainly got lots of attention! The hotel is out in the countryside without obvious places to go on foot. We had an exciting and bumpy trip by jeep visiting several eco-tourist sites including walks in the jungle and a visit to an elephant training centre (which was eye-opening). The swimming pool was very pleasant and there was a serious looking ayurvedic spa (which we did not use).

Good Value for money
Pros:

Our room was clean and well maintained with all modern amenities. It is located away from the main road and getting there is not that convenient

Lovely stay, would recommend
Pros:

Amazing place, kind of out of the way unless you use a taxi. Hotel we beautiful, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We stayed here as a treat to ourselves after staying in more inexpensive hotels for several weeks.

Restaurant was a bit of a let down upstairs, but downstairs was lovely, if quiet.

Only way to fault the hotel is the lack of light in the restaurant and hallways, and the lack of sunloungers by the pool.
