Very disappointing experience
Our stay at this hotel was far from what we expected.
The room was dirty, with dust everywhere, and food on the carpet, chips bag on the blacony! and no towels in the bathroom.
Check-in was delayed until 5:30 PM, even though it was supposed to be at 3 PM.
The mini bar was almost empty, with barely any options available.
Breakfast was very poor— no traditional Georgian dishes at all, very limited selection.
Shockingly, when a child broke a glass, no one came to clean up the shards, **even after I informed the staff multiple times. Pieces of glass remained on the floor, creating a serious safety risk.
We had to carry our own luggage using the trolley to the room, as no help was offered.
The swimming pools are not in the hotel itself — they are located in another building about 5 minutes away on foot.
Definitely not the standard you would expect from a four- or five-star hotel.
Front desk staffs are very unfriendly and not too helpful with any request, they shouldn’t be in customer service business or they should be trained better for the job.
The concept is fine but the execution needs a lot of work. Rooms were tidy but didn't feel clean with a damp and musty smell when you walked in. The breakfast buffet was large but the food was poor quality and not prepared well, I went at 7 am when it opened and the items like sausages, bacon, and eggs were already cold. The bread was hard and inedible and there were small birds flying around the dining room eating off the tables. The service also left a lot to be desired as the staff seemed annoyed to be there and were generally unpleasant. The hotel is very far from the city center and it took us over two hours one evening to reach downtown. Wouldn't recommend staying here at all.
I had the misfortune of the staying here after a flight was cancelled and the airline shuttled us here for the night. The rooms are large, the place is clean but it's the details that fail to meet my expectations of a five star hotel.
None of the food at the buffet was labelled - you had to guess what kind of soulless mass consumption slop was in each bain marie. I chose the pasta, which was two trays away from the meatballs I presume it was intended to be paired with. The noodles were three minutes past al dente and the meatballs were dry. I did my best to salvage as much sauce as I could.
None of the food was Georgian.
In the rooms none of the power outlets seemed to work but after ten minutes of effort in wobbling plugs and unplugging the kettle I was able to charge my phone.
The hotel isn't really near any amenities. I assume it's for business meetings or events.
If you come to Tbilisi for tourism, don't stay here.
Very good hotel, but far from city center. Breakfast is all
Rightp
Lovely place to chill and do your work in the huge lobby of the hotel. Nice for business trips, as it’s very close to airport. Breakfast was great, they also have Chinese Restaurant with delicious meals. Hotel has nice park near to go out in the evening and near is Tbilisi Sea, I’ve took nice photos there.
Stayed here recently for 10 days. The front desk staff were lovely. The rooms were spacious and nice, however the traffic noise from the road was very loud. I was on the 3rd floor. Very disappointing that as a wheelchair user, I was restricted from using the pool, gym and sun terrace. Access throughout the rest of the hotel was fine but as we were there 10 days it would have been nice to use the facilities especially as it was so hot. Food was nice, but unfortunately it was usually cold. Not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.
Air conditioning was little poor
The hotel, food and service was just ok. Though it's mentioned that it's five star property, the facilities don't match any five star standards. Only good thing was that the room was very spacious. Recommend this hotel for a short stay only.
Beautiful hotel with excellent service.
The attitude and rudeness of the staff doesn’t match the 5 star hotel rating.
The hotels is great and clean but the hospitality is way bad.
We were a family of 8 and they had us waiting for more than 2 hours because check in is at 3 PM and we arrived at 1 PM which I totally understand but the behavior of that person was so bad.
The morning breakfast buffet was great and staff was also helpful.
I wouldn’t recommend it to anyway who wants to have a plea sent stay
The service is the worst I have ever seen. Staff are not friendly at all in all areas. They were arguing every single request I had in reception, restaurant. Their attitude is definitely not reflecting any hospitality or welcoming of their guests.
The hotel was a bit out of the way but just fabulous. As a wheelchair user, the room was out of this world and completely accessible. Meanwhile, the food was excellent and the staff extremely welcoming.
Nice hotel with all you need ! Air conditioning elevators spa and swimming pool bars and restaurants.
I suggest rooms from 3rd floor on to avoid rumors from the roads during the night.
I suggest to book taxi from reception they are cheap and no surprises
Consider that the hotel is away from city center and you will need a taxi to reach center of the town or airport
I had gone to Georgia with my wife on a 5 days tour arranged by Holiday Factory Dubai. As part of the package our stay in Tbilisi was arranged in this hotel. Rated as a 5 star property, I had a lot of expectations before I reached there. But as I write this review, I would say that I am disappointed.
The first set back was right at the reception. Since it was a group booking our rooms were allotted in advance. When I enquired about the view from my room, I was told that it was facing another building. I requested if I could be given another room with a better view, a pat response by a flat faced person "I cant change the rooms as these are already allotted".
The first impression inside our room was okay. It looked neat and clean , reasonably sized and kept in order.
However, in the evening of the second day, after we returned to our room, we found it to be made up but the linen was not changed despite our placing the card on the bed, that indicated our desire for change of linen.
Next day morning, when my wife used the bathtub she noticed that a piece of used tissue or similar object lying under the sink slab. So I informed the reception about both the things that our linen was not changed despite request and that the used tissue be removed when our room is cleaned. That day evening on returning to our room we were shocked to see our room not made up and as we had left in the morning. On reaching out to the reception over the intercom, we were asked if we wanted our room to be cleaned. I felt as if by arranging the cleaning of our room he would do us a favour. He promptly arranged for a staff to come to our room but surely that person did not have any briefing. So with difficulty, language being a barrier, we could convey to her that our linen be changed and not just straightened. Her response was quite irritating but she changed the bed sheet and the pillow covers. However, she neither vacuum cleaned the room room wipe the stains on pantry place. Not to mention that the used tissue was still lying where it was since our arrival . So much for the cleanliness of the room.
The staff are not friendly specially in the buffet:
Guests were asking for coffee at time 10:30 which is the end time for buffet and they answer very rude stating that you have to pay for the coffee
This supposed to be five stars hotel and the staff need to be flexible
The overall experience in this hotel was great , the room was spacious with a very beautiful view on green pastures that me and my wife loved. The breakfast in the morning is with lots of varieties , we found tasty food all over .I noticed the hotel respects international standards within i put do not disturb for the whole duration of my stay as i had valuable things in my room , and effectively no body accessed from Housekeeping staff , and they left everyday a note paper reminding us to call for service if needed as our room status was DND , we managed to clean our room ourselves as we are both managers from hospitality background. Negative things to be worked on , is some of the carpet stains that need to be dealt With since it gives an idea that carpets are not clean even though we knew it was clean . Also staff need to be trained on communicating with warmth and also on English language as it was a challenge to find someone who properly speaks or barely says good morning. The cold attitude of staff especially in restaurant doesn't help build recurring business even though as a hospitality professional i understand some factors behind it .From reception first Check in interaction was with Shota who was nice and smiling though when we asked for tour guides and he said he will help us , a lady interfered and coldly stoped our conversation with Shota giving us a map and indirectly saying please no more questions ...from housekeeping Michael who works in night was very helpful and kind.one other negative aspect is the fact that there was no coffee machines in room and also i asked for a prayer mat as i am Muslim but was answered with no availability of such thing staff of housekeeping in morning doesn't even know what was the meaning of a prayer mat.Anyway apart from those negative aspects the overall experience was lovely and the hotel deserves a five star property.
Very bad experience with rude and unprofessional, unpleasant staff.
The General Manager is unable to check on his customer after having an issue, so rude and unprofessional.
We will never come back in this hotel.
We expected much more than this service from a 5 star hotel.
Tidy clean rooms , good water pressure , Great Food and Dining hall , Ambient enviornment , great rooms facing the lake , Staff were quite nice and helpful ,
Defenitely coming here again , although alittle away from city center , it's worth every penny for the calm vibe it has .
A business trip .... Great silent elegant hotel . Kind and competent staff. Excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant. Comfortable rooms with excellent internet connection. I will come back for sure
