Modern hotel. Executive rooms with all and + amenities and comfort.
The perfect 5 nights stay. Although this room was an upgrade to the one I have requested. The best part is that I stayed 5 perfect nights at same booked price.
Staff are super available and kind.I lost my cellphone, and they could go to cameras to check where I could've left it. They were totally helpful.
The best hotel room I ever stayed I can say. And I've been in quite lot 5star hotels all over the world.
The only thing in China is that people can't speak English, not even the staff in a 5-star hotel. You should have a translation app in your cellphone for better experience. But don't try using Google services if you don't install VPN locally
1. The restaurant Elements in the hotel has a great chef. The reason why on Saturday night it was full. The lady at the entrance said that I couldn't have dinner there because there was no space available. She said that I should go back to my room and request for room service instead. That menú wasn't 1/4 of the menu of the restaurant. She noticed my disappointment and asked to wait 30 minutes. They receive people from outside. I didn't appreciate it.
2. I am not sure if my rating is fair because my room was an upgrade to their executive suites. That's why I didn't give them a 10.
The reason for the upgrade was due to a miscommunication between the hotel and booking.com, and so, they said that they didn't have the rooms I booked available. Luckily, I called the hotel before to confirm my booking. After several calls and they saying that they didn't receive the booking from booking.com, I decided to stay in another o hotel. 10min later I received a call from them asking to be there for check in. I said I was in another hotel already. They asked if I could show please as the booking was open. Although I know it wasn't my fault I decided to go there.
This is a beautiful hotel and an oasis of luxury within the city.
My room was very clean and extremely well presented with high end amenities. The room design and the interiors are modern and luxurious with good quality linens, dressing gowns and towels. The rooms also seem well insulated and it was quiet and peaceful. My only feedback would be that i found the mattress extremely hard which did impact my sleep quality unfortunately.
The breakfast buffet was extensive and served many cuisine options with good quality food.

Very upscale! The staffs were very welcomed and friendly. I especially will give the credit to their executives lounge: Dora, Vicky , Leah were so kind and sweet to us. We went there everyday during our staying and they remembered our favorite things and small habits. Kempinski Changsha is highly recomended!
Great hotel Dorothy the manager super helpful speaks English and Chinese perfect.All of the staff were very helpful.The buffet breakfast incredible.The buffet weekend lunch or dinner highly recommend.Housekeeping always kept the room neat and clean daily.Great local food around the neighborhood.
This hotel is exceptional clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciated the assistance from the front desk (Cassie, Xylia, Aviva) team in arranging the rooms and traveling. There are many excellent places to eat nearby. My family and I end up staying here for 1 week. I highly recommend this location.
Ms. Libera from reception was very helpful and thoughtful, she helped me with problem that I had and due to her assistance I avoided big problem. Her professionalism was right what I needed. Not mentioning her beautifull look!
Despite being 5star hotel, the front desk can't speak English, payment is only wechat pay or alipay that can be used in China. The credit card machine is broken. This hotel is not for foreign business person, but for wealthy Chinese people.
Kempinski Changsha is absolutely the choice when you travel to Changsha city. Their outstanding European luxury style and amazing service make you feel you are so important. Special thanks Vilo from the lobby and Vicky from the executive lounge, who made my trip so extraordinary.

My family and I had a fantastic and memorable stay in Kempinski Changsha. Everyone was ever so friendly, helpful, courteous; and the room was exceptionally clean and tidy with their tiredless Housekeeping staff, the breakfast and dinner was superb with their vast range of delicacies and dishes available.
