cockroach issue
Pros:

The gentleman at the front desk was very professional, courteous, and understanding of the situation. His response to our concerns was appreciated.

Overall, the motel was very quiet, with no significant outside noise or disturbances. The pool area was excellent, and the location was very convenient.

If it had not been for the cockroach issue, I would have gladly completed my entire planned stay at this property.

Cons:

I stayed in a room with a kitchenette. On the first day of my stay, I found and killed a cockroach in the kitchen area. Unfortunately, the situation became worse throughout the evening. Within approximately 12 hours, I found and killed a total of six cockroaches in the kitchenette area of the room.

Due to this issue, my family and I decided to leave the hotel and shorten our stay. We only stayed for one full day instead of completing our planned reservation.

The air conditioning units were also extremely noisy, which affected the overall comfort of the room.

For rooms equipped with kitchenettes, I believe the hotel should place greater attention on pest control and prevention measures.

Great stay!
Pros:

Everything was perfect! Wished I could have gotten a first floor room but all was full...that's OK. Convenient location, great views, room was perfect, staff extremely nice. Will definitely choose Sea Jay again.

Pros:

The motel was close by to the Satellite hotel where our other friends were at. The decor reminded me of something back in the 50's with the color scheme. I booked the family suite with 2 bedrooms & kitchenette, but didn't use most of it, only the coffee machine the next morning. This would've been helpful if it mentioned it had all the amenities in the suite, stove, microwave, refrigerator & could've brought more items to place in the refrigerator. But other than that it was very accommodating for the time that I was there with my other lady friend.

Cons:

The downfall with this is that it had a bathroom with a 50's pink bathtub with shower, but it didn't have any grab bars to hold onto getting in & out of the tub for safety reasons.

I’d love to come back and stay again!
Pros:

The location was good. Near everything. The retro feel took me back to when I was younger the tile and bathroom tub and sink were great!

Cons:

We killed 2 small roaches in the bathroom. It’s Florida…. But might be time to spray???
