Okay
Cons:

The breakfast was not a buffet, but a fixed menu. We had allowed 30mins for breakfast because we had specific travel arrangements. It took 15 mins to order, the 10 mins to be served. So we had 5 mins to eat. It would have been okay if it had been busy, but we were the only guests.

Pros:

Room overlooked garden and lake. Pool was large. Old bar room with pool/snooker table.

Cons:

Hotel needs maintenance and decor upgrade. Dinner buffet and breakfast buffet was basic but adequate. Location is reasonable close by car to the museum, but isolated out on a spit and too far to go to outside restaurants for dinner.

Not upto my expectations
Pros:

No view of garden or lake in rooms we got. No double beds. Single beds put together which left a gap in the middle.

Disappointing buffet experience overshadowed an otherwise decent stay.
Pros:

The Location is perfect, pool , rooms and other common facilities were excellent. The staff very friendly. Specially Hansika from front office very very helpful and attentive.

Cons:

The buffet experience for all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was extremely disappointing and needs serious improvement. This was our second visit to this hotel, and we are frequent guests across the Araliya hotel chain, so we are familiar with the usual standards.

Unfortunately, this was the worst buffet experience we have had within the Araliya chain. The quality, variety, and overall standard of the buffet food were far below average and did not meet expectations associated with the brand.

However, we would like to note that when we ordered à la carte food at the bar, the quality was good, which clearly shows that the kitchen is capable of delivering better standards. This contrast makes the poor buffet quality even more disappointing.

Visit Polonnaruwa was very Happy & Very proudly Journey to Us.
Pros:

Dinner & Breakfast was Excellent.

Cons:

No EV charge point at Hotel Premises or Near Polonnaruwa Area, But they provide me Wire Cable to charge the Car with normal Voltage. (Slow Charging)

Was asked to pay the full amount at check-in and paid it at check-in which is unusual as per my previous experience in star grade hotels.
Ceiling of bathroom open and broken. No privacy as you can hear the conversations/ sound from other bathrooms and rooms.
Bath cubicles not cleaned well. Dirty edges of cubicles glasses .
