Pros:

The whole place was beautiful. The rooms the pool the public areas were great

Cons:

Due to the unrest in certain parts of the world started by someone in the USA many flights were cancelled and through no fault of the hotel we were not able to enjoy the buffet/set meal as it would not have been viable to put on . Having some local meals on the ALa Carte would be great as we prefer local cuisine rather than international

Comfortable stay . Good staff. Average food choice. Beautiful location.
Pros:

The location and the staff. They are very friendly and courteous. Well trained staff.

Cons:

If the shower cubicles were more clean it would have been better. They were not good enough in comparison to the other facilities.

Cons:

The breakfast was not a buffet, but a fixed menu. We had allowed 30mins for breakfast because we had specific travel arrangements. It took 15 mins to order, the 10 mins to be served. So we had 5 mins to eat. It would have been okay if it had been busy, but we were the only guests.

Room overlooked garden and lake. Pool was large. Old bar room with pool/snooker table.

Cons:

Hotel needs maintenance and decor upgrade. Dinner buffet and breakfast buffet was basic but adequate. Location is reasonable close by car to the museum, but isolated out on a spit and too far to go to outside restaurants for dinner.

Pros:

No view of garden or lake in rooms we got. No double beds. Single beds put together which left a gap in the middle.

Disappointing buffet experience overshadowed an otherwise decent stay.
Pros:

The Location is perfect, pool , rooms and other common facilities were excellent. The staff very friendly. Specially Hansika from front office very very helpful and attentive.

Cons:

The buffet experience for all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was extremely disappointing and needs serious improvement. This was our second visit to this hotel, and we are frequent guests across the Araliya hotel chain, so we are familiar with the usual standards.

Unfortunately, this was the worst buffet experience we have had within the Araliya chain. The quality, variety, and overall standard of the buffet food were far below average and did not meet expectations associated with the brand.

However, we would like to note that when we ordered à la carte food at the bar, the quality was good, which clearly shows that the kitchen is capable of delivering better standards. This contrast makes the poor buffet quality even more disappointing.
