Our stay at this lovely hotel could not have been better. We have stayed in many hotels. This is one of the very best we have experienced. Very well positioned, presented, organized and staffed. We will be returning. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Nous avons été séduit par l’hôtel sur hôtels.com nous avons choisi d’y passer une nuit. Au premier regard tout semblait bien, mais après un second regard nous avons été desçu (voir photo). Le lieu est vraiment beau, se serait bien que les chambres soit impeccable comme doit l’être un 5 étoiles.

The is a lovely property by the river in Toulouse. It’s not right in the heart of the city but worth it! The staff are exceptional. Our front desk receptionist, Olivier, was terrific! He booked trains and restaurant reservations for us and did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were very modern yet the building was old and historical.

Unfortunate experience

I wish I could write a better review of this hotel.The location can't be beat, the staff overall is great, and the parking arrangements are excellent.

Now the bad news: the hotel is a peculiar mix of historic architecture superimposed with modern furnishings/fixtures/decor. I was traveling with two friends, and we all paid the same price for our rooms. However, it turned out that my room, in an attic with a small dormer window and furnishings that were not at all cozy, was far inferior to the others, which I didn't learn until close to checkout. I spoke with the manager about a reduction in my bill, but to no avail. The experience cast a pall on all of Toulouse.

Pros:

A wonderful “boutique” hotel with a quiet inner courtyard for drinks after a delicious dinner a few steps from the hotel. The room was huge by European standards. Slept very well. The pillows and linens were very nice.
The staff were friendly, efficient, and attentive.

Bel hôtel élégant et chaleureux
Pros:

Très bien situé, en centre-ville mais dans une rue calme, chambre spacieuse et petit déjeuner copieux et varié, notre séjour a été parfait grâce à ce bel hôtel au personnel avenant.

Fabulous value and friendliness
Pros:

Very nice hotel in Toulouse. Fantastic and friendly staff. The hotel has seen its better days for wear and tear though. Carpets are stained and haven’t been changed in many years. Water stains on all the marble in the bathrooms is odd because one person armed with a spray bottle of polish and a floor or handheld buffer could restore the marble in 3-4 hours to look perfect. If they maintained it regularly would be so nice. AC controls don’t work. You have to ask front desk to control for your room. Phone didn’t work. Otherwise really great location and again wonderful staff.

Standing oui… Mais le service moyen

Cadre sympathique et glamour, chambre spacieuse et décoré avec goût.

Des morceaux de plainte manquantes côté salle d eau ( dégrade l image du standing annoncé)

Nous avons testé le spa sauna ( avec une réservation) on a du monté par les escaliers 3 étages car les deux ascenseurs ne fonctionnait pas impossible d ouvrir les portes avec nos cartes de chambre, et on a du chercher quelqu’un arrivé à la partie spa aucun accueil !!!! C est pas le standing que l’on s attendait…
Bref on a aimé mais on le refera pas car à ce niveau de prix on s attend à un minimum…
