Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Foo was excellent. Rooms lovely. Hotel is rutal, so 4 stars is simply not a lot around - but if looking for a quiet rural hotel excellent. Simple facilities- if being really picky, could do with access to movies or streaming from room's tv.

Booked last minute and what a great find! The hotel was beautiful, the room was perfect, and we enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent too, overall a fantastic stay.

It was the hottest day of the year & the room had no air-con, plus my room was in the older part of the hotel so was really warm. But managed to get a good enough sleep.

On the first floor. Missed a bottle of water in the room but to be fair Scottish tap water is fine.

Bed amazingly comfortable, food good, room amazing but needs some freshing up on walls(some scuff marks on paint).
Would recommend for an overnight stay and will be back at some point.
