Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla

I stayed here last week and left with disappointment. I arrived at the hotel at 2.30AM due to the rescheduling of my flight. I was assisted by a cold, non communicative staff. He did his job efficiently though, but no more than that. No explanation of anything, no recognition of my Platinum status, no Platinum member perks and upgrade, not even mentioning the place and time of breakfast. I did not bother to ask since I arrived exhausted.

I was allocated a room in the 12th floor. The same floor as the Executive Lounge, which the staff did not mention of course. The carpet from the elevator to the room had uneven surface, I never had this before. The room smelt bad, old and stinky. The bed was fairly good but the linen felt not fresh. The towel smelt weird too.

The breakfast was pretty varied with good selection of Indonesian and Western selections. I came across an annoyed guest because there were delays in replenishing the food. During breakfast, at 09.34AM I received a notification that my booking was cancelled because the system checked me in the day after even though I have fully paid for the stay during the check in process. I brought this to the attention of the available reception staff. This issue was fixed after I followed it up to the property. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Everything's good in here, food, services, Facilities and many More. and everything was so nice so that our night just being comfort by this hotel

Would Recommended to stay at this hotel as the Location is close to everything.
Rooms are clean and staff are very attentive.

Hotel yang kamarnya cozy untuk bermalam dengan keluarga gymnya 24 jam akses dan sarapannya banyak banget variasinya recomended sih untum balik lagi terutama pelayanan timnya terutama dari keramahannya mba Rifka memastikan selama staynya nyaman..

Novotel Makassar is the perfect place for a vacation especially with family.. our kids are very happy.. liburannya sampai diperpanjang hihi, lokasi strategis. various breakfast. their service also the best..

so i book on 7th floor, and it was great. Kamarnya bersih, sarapannya enak, kolam bersih, it must be 5 stars hotel i think.

Novotel as we known is one of the Accor hotel.. international brand.. but i visit Makassar and stayed at Novotel makassar.. this hotel really amazing. Stepping through the lobby. I was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception team. I remember she has dimple and she really humble.. ms. Raka i guess.. the staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and helpful.especially her.. they always greeting and smiling to us
Light, airy and very spacious, very welcoming atmosphere.
Breakfast was amazing. Location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hestitationin recommending this hotel to tbe tourists who want to go to Makassar. Will be back to this place soon

Room was very clean .. the view from my room was really cool, even better in the night ..

A very splendid stay! We’ve had a great time as a family with 2 toddlers. The room was spacious and the pool is kids friendly. Would definitely be back. Very suitable for children since it has playground and kids pool that can be accessed anytime

In this hotel you will be able to stay comfortable... Beside, the locations waa strategic near some market, and Losari beach, also the Ford Rotterdam.
