A convenient location with a great shower, but outdated rooms and poor comfort made it overpriced.
Pros:

The location was central to everything we needed for our overnight stay. From the outside, the hotel looked modern, well-maintained and inviting, giving a great first impression. The shower was also excellent, with strong water pressure and a consistent temperature throughout.

Cons:

The $150 bond for a standard room with no minibar felt excessive, and receiving the TV remote at check-in felt a little unusual. Access to the rooms was only via stairs, which may not suit all guests. While the room was spacious, the bathroom layout was odd, with the basin positioned on carpet immediately inside the entrance. The bed was extremely firm and offered poor support, leaving me with a sore lower back the next morning. The toilet bowl was loose, which raised safety concerns, and the basin area had no dedicated lighting, making it difficult to use. We chose to eat in our room, but the wall-mounted desk was loose and leaning, feeling as though it could come away from the wall. Overall, the rooms felt dated and, considering the price, didn't offer good value for money.

Pros:

The accommodation staff were amazing. Even though very old rooms it was warm and comfortable. I cannot thank the reception girls enough and I will be staying there again.

A pleasant place to stay
Pros:

The hotel is located in a central and convenient location. The staff were extremely helpful and warm. Checking in was straight forward and smooth. There was ample parking space to cater for a slightly longer vehicle I had, which was a relief and stress-free for me.

Cons:

I didn't enjoy having to lug my luggage to my room upstairs, as the stairs seem to be the only way up. After dinner, the room diagonally opposite mine where a few blokes in Hi-vis, had decided that it was a good idea to leave their room door opened, whilst talking and laughing at the top of their voices. I understand it wasn't the hotel's fault but the behaviour of some uncivilised and narcissistic beings, who were utterly inconsiderate of other guests.

All i can say i am not happy.
Pros:

Close to the shops

Cons:

No lift.. i was struggling carrying my luggages going up and down stairs, The room has a strange smell..no iron and ironing board.

Cold, wet,windy but that is the weather for you and it was mid winter.(refer to question 4)
Pros:

Adequate hot water, tea/coffee topped up daily, gaming room clean and regular snacks and free tea/coffee, plenty of options in dining room (perhaps a little pricey) adequate free parking

Cons:

Sadly, my room had two very small single beds which were on rollers which moved about a bit Passageway floorboards very creaky/noisy Nearby trams not running due to trackworks but that is not the hotels fault
