We came back for the second time, we really liked everything, the hotel staff surprised us, we received a gift, we were invited to a regular customer party, the women received gel, dessert and a delicious cocktail, the staff was very helpful, the food was great, there was really a lot of everything, the evening programs were good, the spa was great, we had to practice some armwrestling, special thanks to loby bar, Denis was doing fast and nice koctails, we had a great vacation
Maybe we were a little disappointed with the DJ at the disco, they should take more into account what the audience likes, and there was a problem at the reception on the day of check-out. The day before we left, we asked if there was anything like a late check-out, they said everything was fine, but the next day, when the reception staff changed, there was a disagreement that we had to vacate the room by 12 noon, although the day before that, when I asked, they didn't mention anything about the time, but everything was fine
Everything is perfect
Annoying push sales and every day very similar shows at the evening.
The pier
The size of the room
The minibar replacement
Everything is outdated
The cleaning needs significant improvement
The food choices / potential combinations are limited
I liked it the first night, before I knew any better and I absolutely loved it when I checked out and it disappeared in my rearview mirror.
I've stayed in some good places and some bad, but never paid so much for so little. Starting at check-in they wanted to combine the 2 separate rooms I reserved into 1 family room. Six people to one toilet is not my cup of tea unless I'm awaiting trial, so naturally I refused but the mood was spoiled. Next morning I saw breakfast and things went down from there. Lots of carbs and greasy vegetables but nothing like the all inclusive in Greece where is stayed 2 weeks before. Lunch, same thing, gluten gluten everywhere interspersed with greasy fried vegetables. Supper was as expected, more strange stuff of dubious quality and not a steak or piece of salmon in sight. I'm Canadian so I like to live well and can afford to, I definitely don't look to stay in places advertised as 5 star when in fact the food is inferior to what I'd find at a gas station back home. The swimming pools are shallow with no diving boards and the beach was sheltered, unappealing and crowded. I had to take my family to the Antik hotel down the road to order decent food and sit on an ok beach, again nothing like Greece. All in all I spent an additional 1200 Euro in 1 week to eat, drink and relax up to my standards. I wouldn't have cared about these things or even bothered to write this review if they had just returned the balance of my money and let me check out on the second day, but they refused and kept us as financial prisoners at their hotel. Booking dot com wasn't any help either but I do have one huge consolation, neither the website or this destination will ever see another cent of my money again. If you are poor or generally can't afford to live well in your regular life you will think this is paradise, but if you have standards and respect yourself and your money, go to Greece or Bulgaria, you'll be glad you did.
Most of the people are nice people and very welcoming and helpful
The cleaning ladies and reception guys
fast check-in and fast check-out
1) AC didn't work, and I had to call 3 times to get it fixed,
2) nightly there is a show for kids, followed by another show for all (like Circus show, etc..)
we came early to sit in the front seat, then for some reason after the show started, one of the hotel workers decided to get one family to come and sit in front of us this happened on the night of 14/08/2023,
I am not sure why would they even create new row ONLY in front of my family, do they matter more or something!!
that was very humiliating!! I had to talk to them with a tone in order for them to remove them,
the kids were not able to see the show,
This is extremely obnoxious !
3) On the day we arrived, our flight got delayed and we came hungry and the only available next thing was the food at "A la' Carte Restaurant' were I saw that this is a buffet food, we said we go eat something quick with the kids and go get some sleep, but no it was not a buffet, and even though we went fairly early around 11:35 (it is supposed to open at 11:30) it seems that most of the places were taken but some nice family gave up 2 seats so we can sit our family (of 5) and there were some other guys (4-5 people) who came after us, they were served before us,
and it took us 1.
Early mirning tbe cleaning staff noisy very loud.
Can’t really relax
This place for party and disco nosiy
Not for family with children
And the food is very basic food with no extra taste
Every day same food
Noisy
Location on beach, staff, food all excellent.
Everything was really good. There was a very good bistro with coffee and cakes. only small personal preference would be to have better coffee at other coffee stations.
The room was nice, the entertainment was great, the facilities were very good
They have no empathy or care for their guest's. Whilst there I had my hand crushed in one of the sun loungers which slipped whilst I was sitting on it........I had to spend 6 hours in hospital, during which time the hotel did not check on our children who we had to leave behind as the ambulance refused to bring them with us.
My hand was trapped between 2 metal struts of one of the sun loungers, which had to be prized open by guests ......... My fingers were crushed flat. The bones were squashed, the skin ripped open to the bone which required stitches, and 4 weeks on I still don't have feeling or movement in two fingers to my right hand, significantly impeding what I can do with my hand.
The guest relations manager was uncaring and unwilling to accept any part in the accident.
They did not ask how we were once we returned......they offered us free fruit, even though we were all inclusive. The guest relations manager told us it was my fault!!!! They refused to accept any risk associated with their sun loungers.......I really hope no one else has to go through the same, as the damage to my hand is likely permanent, and to be shown no empathy or care was very distressing. Worse to be told it was my fault! It ruined my holiday and that of my 11 year old who witnessed the incident.
The following day I witnessed another guest splitting his head open after slipping on the stairs ......I hope they didn't tell him that was his fault too.
Just be aware that if you have an accident whilst at this hotel, you're on your own ........
