First and New Star Hotel

Overall, the First and New Star hotel offers standard accommodation at a value for money price.

Being situated close to Chan Sow Lin train station, transport into city is readily accessible and there are two excellent shopping malls within walking distance, as well.

Towels and sheets could be better and there's also a rather noisy karaoke bar nearby but, apart from this, it's actually a quite a clean, comfortable and affordable choice of hotels to consider staying in when when visiting K.L.

Friendly, helpful service being another plus.

LRT駅、chan sow linより徒歩3分。ロビーは狭いが、ホテル従業員は親切。禁煙ばかりのホテルにあって
喫煙可能。愛煙家にとりOK.全般てきにせいけつであるがシャワーの水圧が低い。
アメニティーがないので、歯ブラシ、シャンプーは必携

카운터에 가니까 추가적으로 텍스 내랍니다 하루에 10링깃씩.. 13일이니 130링깃..
이 얘기 나누면서 어리둥절하고있다가 카운터에 기어가는 작은 개미를 꾹 눌렀는데
그것들이 방에서도 등장하네요..
덕분에 주변에서 모기약 구입 필수고요..
방에 창문하나 없는 단독실이었고 벽 모서리마다 금이 나가있어서 거기서 개미가 나옵니다
화장실도 퀘퀘하고 찝찝해서 통로에 솔이 있길래 가져다 치약으로 타일 왁싱까지 했습니다.
비누 샴푸없어서 다 준비한거로 써야되고 부족하면 다 사야됩니다.
유일하게 녹색 핸드워시 폼 있는데 찝찝해서 전혀 안썼네요.
건너편에 빨래방이 있긴 하던데 그냥 숙소에서 손빨래 하며 지냈습니다.
세면대에 물 받아두고 빨래 하려고하면 누렇던 그 물들이 아직도 아련히 생각나네요.

중국인들이 운영하고 주인아주머니는 낫배드인데 나머지 남직원들은 존나 야리거나 썩은표정..
푸두쪽이고 지하철 역 바로 앞이라 그거 하나만 딱 좋고 모든게 찝찝해서 하루빨리 나가고싶던 열흘이었습니다.
심지어 마지막 나오던날 짐 싸다가 타일바닥에 미끌어서 손가락까지 골절되버려서 추후 촬영일 하는데 굉장히 불편하고 불쾌하고 뭐 하나 마음에 드는것이 없네요.
그저 저렴하게 있고싶다면 말리지 않겠지만 소중한 하루하루를 마무리짓는 안락한 숙소를 생각하시는 분이라면 절대 이곳은 추천 하지 않겠습니다.

Not recommended. Very noisy. Can't sleep at all. Surrounding with pub and discotheque. Noisy from 9pm until 6am.

很好的酒店 符合我的要求 又便宜 只是冲凉房如果再大一点点然后水再大一点就很好了 地理位置不错 通常找到附近LRT的Hotel都比较贵一点 不过这家的酒店的LRT STATION刚好的又在Chan Sow Lin然后要去Sentul Timur或者选择要去Putra Height还有Ampang都不用转站 然后要从LRT去Hotel有通一条桥 也不用绕一大圈回去Hotel也不用花钱坐Teksi回去 要去Times Square只是要去Hang Tuah 才3个STATION而要去BUS STATION大约才5个STATION 然后Hotel附近的Shopping Mall很适合我 因为我比较喜欢逛家具类型的商家 坐不到3块钱的Grab就能到Ikea了 如果High Fare就比较贵一点 可能升至10块都可能 我这边住的时候刚好是Malaysia Seagames的时候 再刚好的Grab也有出Promo Code 6块以下免费 所以我这几天的Grab费用就出不到20块 全部都是promo code来帮助了我的Grab费用 这是一家方便又低价的酒店 这家酒店帮到很多低Budget的客人 可是客人都不知足 还点差评给这家酒店 我差一点都不要住这家酒店了 还好不能退款 要不然我早就住更贵的酒店了 然后现在点差的是这家酒店的缺点 那时候这家酒店的4楼Wifi不是很好 不过我有告诉了他们 他们也好像爱理不理的 到了最后第2天的时候才帮我解决这个问题 所以我决定给4星！

The staff was very helpful...that was the best thing about it...but the room was like a tumb ,not a single window & hardly any oxygen...at least they could inform about that before booking

Quite good but the room is quite small.
Room is clean but a little bit hard to find.

booked standard room with queen size bed no queen size beds in hotel being big persons we struggled with sleepless night air conditioning screamed all night with blanket cover smelling of someone s Odour size of bathroom was one metre by three metres couldn't sit on toilet cause sink was in THE way probably if your very small you could get on toilet but not European size THE ONLY PLUS WAS PHONING HOTEL .COM FOR THEY DONE EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO RESOLVE THE NIGHTMARE SO THANKS HOTEL.COM

I booked the room with Queen bed but when the times I checked in they give a single bed and change me the Queen bed rates. And the toilet is too small for adults.

good air con , good wifi , comfy bed , hot shower , plenty of local food in area, super market open 24/7 , train station few steps away China town 4 stops away cost of 2 euro s there in ten minutes
coach terminal 4 stops away only 6 euros to melaka, very helpful staff! GREAT BUDGET HOTEL

It's amazing as the staff is friendly.

For one night stay, it was good!

Friendly reception staff, very close to the LRT transport. Rooms have paper thin walls, made worse with an adjoining door attached.
Karaoke noise heard every evening of my stay, from 9.30pm till 5am.
Lot's of the guests seemed to be coming and going at all hours through out the night and early morning.
Great TV screen,clean new beds and bedding. Bathroom was dirty and the room was not cleaned at all during my seven night stay.

The Hotel was good for the amount I paid, I didn't really appreciate the area so much, nightclubs and Karaoke, but that was a personnel thing.
The rooms have very thin walls and plenty of Karaoke noise from the local area from around 9pm till 5am every night of my stay.
The reception staff where very friendly and helpful. There was no house keeping throughout my stay of 7 nights.
The bed's seemed new and the bedding was very clean and also new. The rooms seemed recently re-decorated,but the bathroom needed a good clean and my room had a great LCD TV.
My room was infested with very small termites that got every where, including on me. I've experienced these before, but not to this extent.
I moved out when the price per night increased, making other Hotels in the area a better deal.

Room very small with mouldy smell. Bathroom very basic and tiny. Shower was over toilet with a large window into room. Staff very unhelpful and make you wait with no explanation why. Sign in reception says rooms can be rented by the hour, which is an indication of the clientele. We left at 2.30am for early flight and had to hassle with reception guy for deposit back. We stayed 2 nights on the way to Vietnam and room wasn't serviced at all. They advertise room service but this does not exist. Overall disappointing and I would not recommend it at all
